14 Iranian border guards killed by terrorists in Iran-Pak cross border attack

well , compared to our western borders where the threat of PJAK was eliminated by our special forces in 2 days , i would rather stick to special forces for minimum casualties .

yay ! :)
trying to look smart dont ya ? nice !

our special phorce is bad , your SPECIAL RANGERS are awesome :D

Its nice to have a 6 yr old on forums that jumps to a new level of excitement every time he hears special force. All good there with the stockpile of GI JOE episodes? Move is yours, if you think you settled the score by injuring a harmless fisherman, then congrats else when are the adorable forces coming?

I don't understand it. The anger of Iranians on this thread is justified as five of their border guards have been abducted by the terrorists based in Pakistan. The immature replies from Pakistanis akin to putting salt on their wounds. Shameful!!!

Yeah obviously it is all Pakistani fault.

Taliban crossing over from Afghanistan in Pakistan killing Pakistani soldiers. It is all Pakistan's fault. After all it is Pakistan who created taliban.

Terrorists crossing into Iran killing Iranian soldiers. It is again Pakistan's fault.

What were Iranian forces doing when this incident happened? Busy supporting shia groups in different countries just because they are shia of some kind. So it was obviously Pakistan's job to save Iranian soldiers.

so this is your logic :

lets assume iran was pakistan and pakistan was iran for a sec :

do u accept this shit :

"there are terrorists inside our country , they attack and kill your people and soldiers every now and then .

thats just the way it is , we are not going to do shit about it cause its not our fault that terrorists are in our country , doing any shit they want freely .

your soldiers should have been vigilant !!!! "

fvck that logic bro :)

The thing is. If you can't perform your job of securing borders from your side, then don't expect Pakistan to do the same.

Pakistani Envoy Summoned over Border Guards’ Abduction
February 10, 2014 - 12:26

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Iranian Foreign Ministry summoned Pakistan’s ambassador to Tehran to hear the country’s protest about abduction of 5 Iranian border guards by a terrorist group.

In the meeting with Ambassador Nour Muhammad Jadmani, the director general of the Iranian Foreign Ministry’s Department of West Asian Affairs voiced Iran’s deep concern about the incident.

The terrorist group Jeish ul-Adl, that has reportedly accepted the responsibility for the abduction, kidnapped the five Iranian border guards in Jakigour joint border region, southeast of Iran, and transferred them to an unknown location in Pakistan.

The Iranian diplomat referred to the occurrence of several terrorist events in the course of the recent months along the two countries’ shared borders and highlighted Pakistan’s responsibility about the health and safe return of the kidnapped border guards.

Iran also asked for the extradition of the terrorists, and called on Islamabad to adopt necessary measures to prevent the occurrence of similar acts in the future.

Iran had also on Sunday conveyed its protest to the Pakistani government over the abduction and transferring of 5 Iranian border guards to Pakistan by the terrorist group.

Iran’s Police Chief Brigadier General Esmail Ahmadi Moqaddam said that the border guards were abducted on the borderlines between Iran and Pakistan and taken to the Pakistani territory.

The two countries’ border security officers are said to have begun their search for the guards after the incident occurred on Thursday.

No armed conflict is reported to have occurred between the Iranian border guards and the assailants.

Protesting formally to Pakistani officials is a waste of time, they are corrupt and too weak to restore law and order in their territory. Pakistan is a weak country and has no control over its Balochistan province or border areas with Afghanistan. Only on paper are these places part of Pakistan, but in reality, they are ungoverned criminal havens. The Taliban is firmly in control of Pakistan's border areas with Afghanistan and the Iran-Pakistan border should now be recognized as the Iran-Balochistan border, Pakistan exists there only on paper.

Pakistan is like some kind of congo republic, full of poverty, armed rebel groups, terrorists and criminals causing mayhem and killing people everyday.

This is the situation in the Balochistan bordering Iran: BBC News - Pakistan Punjab gas supply hit as pipelines bombed (From today's news).

Iran should expect nothing from this weak eastern neighbour.

You cannot compare these two situations. The porous borders between Afghanistan and Pakistan are the consequence of Soviet jihad. Pakistan's military regime deliberately and wholeheartedly allowed the jihadis to move freely across the borders which resulted in the virtual obliteration of the Durand Line. Musharraf even allowed the Talibans and Al Qaeda terrorists to take refuge in the tribal areas when they were running away from American and British air strikes, and Pakistan is till harbouring Afghan Talibans who regularly attack NATO forces in Afghanistan. Therefore, Pakistan has no moral rights to slag off Afghanistan when Pakistan itself has been allowing the Afghan Talibans to use its territory for attack in Afghanistan for a much longer time.

Now tell me, does the Iranian government provide safe haven to any terrorists who are attacking Pakistani border guards or spreading violence anywhere in Pakistan?

Iranian regime is working globally. We have Iran supporting Assad and his troops in Syria. Then there is Yemen and its houthi tribes. Iran supports them too. Then in Lebanon there is Hizbullah. Even in Pakistan's case Iran supports organizations like Sipah e Mohammad who are involved in target killing in Pakistan particularly in Karachi.

.
Shoot first ask later could be a good policy. Iranian border guards must "shoot to kill" anything that moves.

We got a badass here :guns:

i would rather order a "search and destroy" option.

in contrary to waiting for the threat coming and then neutrelizing it .

hamam :-)

you cant just go in and blow things up.. you need permission from the pakistanis or else next time we do the same and adopt search&destroy option for pkk terrorists on your soil.. how you like that?
