ever heard about the J-V concept mate?if not lemme brief you on this matter.Joint Venture is a joint collaboration of two or more countries on the development of a particular product,in this case Brahmos missile.i admit that we didn't re-invent the wheel while developing the world's fastest supersonic,sea skimming,stealthy cruise missile.we just developed it from the Russian Yakhont missile.the Indian contribution to this project was the development of the guidance system for this missile which is the main reason this missile has got a pin point accuracy with CEP of less than 1-2 m!i hope i have explained it all!
secondly J-20 is basicaqlly a twisted version of the Soviet Mig-1.44 stealth aircraft minus the atealth part due to the addition of the canards which increase the RCS dramatically.plus you still use the AL-31P engines and you have yet to develop an engine for this aircraft

PLAAF bought the design from mig after mig1.44 lost to PAKFA.

That’s the cancelled Russian MiG 1.44 stealth fighter, a plane that many have noted has external similarities with China’s new J-20 stealth jet. Now, Russian defense sources are saying that design data and parts from the MiG 1.44 were indeed used in the design of the J-20. Considering Russia is already providing engines for the J-20, this seems pretty plausible that Moscow gave China access to its losing fifth-gen design (as you all know, the Kremlin chose the Sukhoi T-50 PAK FA as its stealth fighter over the MiG). I’m still curious as to what’s inside the J-20 with regards to its sensors and avionics and EW tools.
