What's new

12 U.S soldiers killed in Kabul explosion, numerous civilian deaths, Taliban fighters also killed. ISIS K attack.

Update the headline with 10 US soliders killed. BBC saying as per latest unconfirmed news.

Horrible. No doubt ISIS-K is responsible. NDS remnants and RAW will do anything to stop the withdrawal.

More likely Pissed off Indian raw agent. Angry with Americans over their withdrawal.
The AT, despite this mostly bloodess coup (at least no mass killings we know of so far) are still fundamentally a very very decentralized operation.

There is no reliable chain of command.

Plenty of crazed rogue commanders out there with all sorts of divergent ideologies than the core group that's been propped up as the "leadership".

This is a really bad development .. cancellation of any further evacuation will encourage the refugees to head south for better safety.. This may also indicate what the Talibans may face post US withdrawal.. without any technical reconnaissance and intel abilities, it will be near impossible for them to control whole of Afghanistan and keep the ISIS out of play ..

The current situation has all the indicators to suggest that Afghanistan may soon become the next Syria ...

Have the suicide bombers probably made it in the American Hercules evacuation planes straight to Washington DC.... Not good.
