With current situation i feel that this may b a coordinated attempt to heat up bith eastern and western frontier simultaneously... thats why i am personally in favour of punishing but not very aggressively at this time

For that we need to be economically independent from any other nation ,putting so much effort for Afghanistan is a lost cause but for Kashmir this is true

Fully agree. A significant response is needed here. One that will send a solid message across. Firing or shelling back is a weak response.

Air strikes deep into Afghan territory is the way forward, but I don't see it happening. Pakistan is satisfied with a reactionary response which is a terrible strategy.

I hate to say it, but the rag tag Afghans have really set the tone here. They are firing at will. Had Pakistan really shown intent after the killing we would have responded in kind by now. It hasn't happened and that doesn't bode well.
