11-month child brutally beaten by his caretaker in Pune caught on camera

I came to know about this incident a few days back. The husband and wife were both working late and arranged a babysitter from the agency.I was horrified to see the way the babysitter was handling the child, as if she had some personal vendetta.

The maid should be checked if she is mentally ill or not.If not, she should charged with the most serious form of punishment.

It is getting more and more difficult for the working women in the cities now.Although, all the companies have policies for maternity leaves, but it essentially does not cover the early infant stage of a baby. And hence, we have growing number of agencies providing babysitters, who may not always be qualified or suitable to do the job.

I also came to know about a similar incident in Malaysia where the Indonesian maid was beating the child whenever the parents were not at home.

Rs 12,500 per month is a good enough salary by any urban standards for a maid .
this maid has obviously psychological issues . the very fact that she behaved normally in presence of parents virtually rules out psychiatric issues.

Most of such maids are brought in environment of depravity ..themselves having been denied good marriage , child , family life and all that they see that is available in excess to those they are serving can instigate notion of revenge

The instances such as this have much deeper roots in big social chasm has developed within our society .

The malice is not in women alone who became maid but the society from which she comes ...

Imagine consequences of having denied the basics of life that a human being is looking for ....

Depravity breeds depravity .

There are going to be many more such incidents in near future ...

Saw this video few days back and it was a shocker. The maid is to be blamed but before that it must be ascertained that she was not being harassed by the agency. 12500 went to the agency, how much she was getting, how many hours she was putting each day, holidays if any, was she handling more than one family? So the first thing to investigate should be the agency. Difficult as most of the things are not recorded.
I think the agencies can not be trusted, a good creche is more secure as there are lot of kids and they have to maintain the standards. I live in Pune and have a baby boy. The lady who babysits him is known to our family for years. Never had any issue, we get jealous when my 9 month old gives her a warm smile when she enters the house at morning. Once I joked to my wife that I should kiss her for taking care of him so nicely, she said go ahead, if you can later on face wrath of herself, her husband, myself and the police lol. On a side note, ever since then, my wife calls me more often to check where I am?

Allah made a man to fulfill financial needs of family and made a woman is responsible to foster her children's well-being and education ... But nowadays parents have gone blind to making money ... Mother goes to earn money and spends her money on useless things like:
1) Hiring maid ......
2) Installing CCTV cameras .....
3) Lastly treatment of her child .........

But ultimately she couldn't recover capital loss of her little child ...............
i bet the women wud disagree.
i am fine with women working....after all it ensures their financial independence. having said that i believe a child needs his/her mother the most during infancy. earning money to look after the family can be done by the father or the mother, but i feel its the mother who should be more responsible as she is the one who breast-feeds the baby.
in my personal opinion, i think the working mom should take a sabbatical as long as the baby is not going to school. she can join after her child starts going to school.
now y isnt the dad taking the sabbatical ??? simple...he cant breastfeed the baby.
but of course if we think that the powder milk is good as good as mother's milk then god help us.

Hey dude welcome to 21st century .

A bit extreeme there dude, such thoughts don't belong in this century.

But then, the society has to take care of the child in such cases(of working parents) since lone caretakers cannot be trusted.........which the Russians under their socialism tried to do.........BUT you guys are against socialism as well......

You can't just say he is wrong in saying that women should not go to work to take care of the child without giving a solution yourself on how the child's safety can be ensured while both the parents are at work............

So you see, even your thought process is not suitable for this century.........everyone's thought process has to change......and an unique solution( which will not hinder mother's from going to work as well as keep their children safe) will have to be thought of.

When news of a caretaker in India mistreating a child makes it to a Pakistani military defence forum , you know how unhealthily obsessed they are

i had a problem with his blanket statement that women's only responsibilty was to take care of child, this very mentality has kept females down in various countries like inida, pakistan, afghanistan. Now, am i saying that a women should not take care of her child...NO.But appointing a trusted caretaker is O.K, or a daycare centre, a lone example of a bad caretaker does not prove that the whole system is fraud.IF you have a better solution i am listening and will obviously accept it.

THats why you should not give our kids in the hands of random people...

Hey dude welcome to 21st century .

My comments didn't contradict with 21st century but our kids are precious from our hand bags, wallets & jewelries which can't be given in custody of any maid ... Healthy kids our future ................

Why are you being frustrated... If it is happened in India ... This is not the matter of India ... This is same for Indians & Pakistanis ..
