In China many people trust private delivery giants more, they can ensure same day delivery or 24h delivery. eBay has already disappeared in China.

Free shipping in the US usually means Ground Transportation, it typically takes 3-8 business days. Overnight shipping is very expensive, and the same day delivery is unheard of. Chinese need to teach Americans how to build an efficient logistic system.

Ground transportation? U mean similar to the old style delivery by China Post? Amazon.cn here provides free delivery if u order stuff worth more than 99yuan, and it usually arrives in the same day or the next day. And u know where is your parcel is, for example already packed, already at regional logistics center, or delivery man is on his way to your home.

Over 4,000 parcels were destroyed after a courier truck caught fire on a highway in Jiangxi province on November 12, 2015. The goods valued more than one million yuan in total. Police said the fire started from some parcels while an investigation was under way.
