Nothing else, but this quoted below is the root cause of the problem. The mindset of the males in the subcontinent who view controlling the fairer sex is somehow honorific is pathetic. Although such killings are not that prevalent in India, a woman's rights, including her physical and mental security, are still violated in the name of male honor.
