Hi, I am Arsalan Khan. Here is an artwork of Pakistani fashion. I wanted to do this since I saw WatchCut's 100 Years of Beauty videos. Hopefully, they will make a Pakistani version one day, and maybe take a look this artwork. I hope you guy love it!!

I am surprised at people who look at semi nude women from 60s and swoon over how'progressive' Pakistan was. It seems progress is directly proportional to nudity. The fact of the matter is in eras where we aped west and remained subserviant buffer nation, our good 'Masters' bestowed us well and whenever we grew a backbone things didn't turn out as good. Those colonial era 'baboons' still exist and flourish in media like Dawn and ET.

If my memory serves me right sleeveless kameez was the IN

thing in 2006 too
Am i correct?
@Chauvinist @Divergent1

Wait this is nude?Um ok :-//
Not referring to this post but few others, this one is a cultural recording, done in good taste. The problem is not the nudity but the 'baboon' mindset. There are many among us who wish to carve a copy of Western culture in Pakistan and think it as a model for progress in Pakistan. Yes we need to copy their work ethic and responsible civic attitude. There is much to copy from western culture but the break up of family unit, materialism and objectification of women is not the best start.

Ok explain how this encourages westernization?
objectification of women is not the best start.

Reporting old fashion trends is objectification?
Yes we need to copy their work ethic and responsible civic attitude
Why copy when we could improve our own :D
materialism
So you think our country is not materialistic?
