Addressing a press conference to announce the salient features of the 100 day plan prepared by PTI experts. Mr, Imran Khan the PTI Chief stated that unlike other political parties that rely on empty rhetoric, the PTI has prepared a 100 day plan of action with specific steps backed by a detailed cost and revenue plan within a timeframe. The plan would be formally launched in the near future. The plan has been prepared by a team of experts that took over a year.

Imran Khan said the plan has a number of strategic levels of implementation. In the first 100 days, action would be taken on burning issues such as terrorism, corruption unemployment and inflation etc. on a priority basis. The 100 day plan also outlines the medium to long term strategies of the PTI to meet the economic, social, and governance needs of the country.

The PTI Chairman announced that on coming to power, the PTI would withdraw from the war on terror and declare war against corruption.:mod:

The PTI Chief said that the PTI counter terror strategy would focus on political approaches with force being the last and least preferred option.:

We would declare an end to all military operations and the withdrawal of troops from FATA with the Frontier Corps taking over the responsibility of law and order. (I think the FC structure is also in dire need of change)

A Grand Peace and Reconciliation Jirga would be constituted to bring harmony through reconciliation. (better use the word round table conference, some jackass would object to the word jirga, angraiz ho gay hain kuch log, local terms samaj nahi ateen unheen):pop:

A commission would be formed to ascertain the human rights violations in FATA & SWAT and establish the nature and scale of compensation to innocent victims and their relatives.:agree:

All US bases and intelligence centers would shut down in 3 months.

The visas of all foreign security operatives would be cancelled and they would be repatriated within 7 days.:police:

All drone attacks would be stopped immediately and any breach of our sovereignty would automatically result in blocking of all NATO supplies and an end to all forms of cooperation with the US in its war on terror. (need also to stop NATO supply):frown:

Within the first 100 days, policy framework and direction would include the following steps against corruption:

An independent accountability commission would be formed under a new anti corruption law which would be headed by an individual of impeccable credentials.

Benami accounts and transactions would be banned. THIS IS A MUST

All transactions above a certain ceiling would be legal only if the parties are registered as taxpayers.:agree:

Politicians and government officials having foreign bank accounts or properties abroad would be faced to declare their assets and source of income failing which they would banned from holding public office. (include Military Gernaliz)

Sugar, cement, fertilizer cartels would be dismantled. (Cartels should be declared illegal, whether be it government institutions or private)

On economic issues, he said,

A Pakistan Infrastructure fund would be established to funded by overseas Pakistanis to increase the resource base without conditions.(exactly what I said in the other thread, that the remittances should be invested, it is a good suggestion that a mutual pool be established by the credible government of PTI, on whom all the communities would put their trust and invest)

Indirect taxation would be reduced on fuel and the revenue loss recovered from direct taxation.

Deficit financing to the tune of R. 3,0 billion per day which is the main cause of inflation would be stopped.

Power circular debt would be eliminated.

To put an end to Havala transactions, foreign exchange rules would be amended.

The PTI Chief said that austerity measures would be put in place. All special perks and privileges of the President, PM, Ministers, and Parliamentarians would be abolished. On employment generation, he said that major physical infrastructure projects would be initiated to generate employment.

The PTI Chairman stated the measures proposed would increase revenue generation would be double in 5 years by measures to increase and broaden the tax and bring the rich into the tax net.

The youth of the country would be involved massively in labor and technology intensive projects(the labour intensive should be to develop technical hands rather than unskilled labour).

Judicial and police reforms would be instituted to ensure the rule of law. All Judges of the higher courts would be appointed through a Judicial Commission without any involvement of the parliamentarians. All government appointments would be made through restructured public service commissions.

Nonresident Pakistanis would be actively involved by promoting their economic and technical support in the overall economic restructuring in Pakistan. Special tax incentives would be announced for overseas Pakistanis to facilitate their investment in the country.

An education emergency would be declared. The allocations for education would be increased at the rate of 2 percent annually. A process of uniform core curriculum would be initiated. Must

A National energy Authority shall be established under the Prime Minister. By better management, control of theft and wastage, and refurbishing of power plants a 50% improvement in efficiency can be attained within the first of the PTI government year in the power sector.

I really wish he comes to power.

I agree with his views, but i think terrorists must be crushed because Pakistan already did a peace deal with them but these terrorists later betrayed that treaty.

Plus what about economy? he should plan alot for it too, economy & energy(cheap electricity etc) issue should be made preferences & free education upto Inter should be declared must for every child with full govt support.

PTI is clear on it that if it would be necessary without any foreign pressure, in our own national interest, it would direct military to take action against outlaws/militants

moreover, the electricity is not a big issue, it can be easily solved in leadership wants to solve it.

for economic prosperity consult the Insaf Reach Wing proposals... however here in the 100 day Agenda he has hinted to establish a mutual pool for the diaspora to invest.

the stats show that urban rural population is the almost same, the thing is to change the hearts and minds to "justice for all".

however strategically PTI is require enforcement, it has targeted the population that takes least part in politics yet the concern for where their country is going is highest... on the other hand it takes time to penetrate into a political system such as of Pakistan where feudal lords and business elite rule with military establishment at its back.

labour party in UK took no less than 25 years to get into absolute power, All India Muslim League took no less than 35 years to get recognition by the community it claimed to represent.

PTI is not ethnic party, had the goal of PTI to represent KP, it would have established itself firmly by now...but PTI wants to be representative of the NATION... and for that it would take time for Nation to realize and recognize their true representatives...

.
if at this time we forget what type of system we should have, and focus solely on Economic development, develop Friendly relations with our neighbours and other countries, and try to rebuilt National Spirit, and focus to compensate the deprived segments of the society

MODS: Can we have one dedicated sticky thread for PTI where we can post all the related news. Many thread are opened every other day but die early and not many people get to view them. One sticky will also compile all the information in one place and reduce the clutter.

Yes – It is really needed, there are lots of innocent people who have lost their beloved in these military operations and terrorism and have joined the terrorist groups just to take revenge. They actually don’t know that they are being used.
We would declare an end to all military operations and the withdrawal of troops from FATA with the Frontier Corps taking over the responsibility of law and order.
The PTI Chief said that the PTI counter terror strategy would focus on political approaches with force being the last and least preferred option.
All US bases and intelligence centers would shut down in 3 months.

This is not possible at sudden, we have to kill real terrorists who are working on foreign agenda. We can’t forgive them in any case. Currently we are not in position to kick out USZ within 3 months because in that case we have to face lot of external threats, So PTI will not be able to focus on domestic issue. It should be done tactfully and on priority as well.
All drone attacks would be stopped immediately and any breach of our sovereignty would automatically result in blocking of all NATO supplies and an end to all forms of cooperation with the US in its war on terror.
It should be done on day one and NATO transit agreement should be revised. We should impose tax on it as well because it is destroying our economy and infrastructure. Most of the things which go to AF without paying any duties are being smuggled back and causing millions of $$ loss to our economy. You know the NCL scandal.
Within the first 100 days, policy framework and direction would include the following steps against corruption:
An independent accountability commission would be formed under a new anti-corruption law which would be headed by an individual of impeccable credentials.
Judicial and police reforms would be instituted to ensure the rule of law. All Judges of the higher courts would be appointed through a Judicial Commission without any involvement of the parliamentarians. All government appointments would be made through restructured public service commissions.
There must be a neat & clean Accountability session once for all politicians, army, Buru crates, Police, Judiciary and all stolen money should be recovered. We always get blackmailed by these corroupt people that “Pandora Box Khul Jaay gaa, Mulak tabah ho jaay gaa”. As our country is already at destroyed by them. So – Lets open this Pandora Box as well and see what they have done to our country and avoid future blackmailing.
And new accountability system should be for all, NO IMUNITY, and this commission should have some counter check as well to avoid misuse of authority.
We should invest on judicial system a lot to provide fast justice. They should review they laws and fix the loophole which criminal used to escape. And again NO IMUNITY.
About POLICE, I think this whole system required replacement, you can’t reform them. Like old traffic police replaced with wardens.
Benami accounts and transactions would be banned.
All transactions above a certain ceiling would be legal only if the parties are registered as taxpayers.
Indirect taxation would be reduced on fuel and the revenue loss recovered from direct taxation.
The PTI Chairman stated the measures proposed would increase revenue generation would be double in 5 years by measures to increase and broaden the tax and bring the rich into the tax net.
Overall good tax policy. We should develop culture of Paying Direct Taxes instead of in-direct taxes. Everyone should be included in tax base not just rich people. Currently poor people are also paying huge indirect taxes but they don’t know about it. If there are direct taxes than you can easily find out how much you have paid and will certainly be able to ask where your tax money is being spend.
Politicians and government officials having foreign bank accounts or properties abroad would be faced to declare their assets and source of income failing which they would banned from holding public office.
To put an end to Havala transactions, foreign exchange rules would be amended.
Yes – It should be applicable on everyone who is getting paid from public money and they should file this declaration annually and should justify the source which caused the increase.
Sugar, cement, fertilizer cartels would be dismantled. (Cartels should be declared illegal, whether be it government institutions or private).
Yes – It should be illegal for every sector and there must be heave plenty and punishments as well. I will recommend death sentence.
Deficit financing to the tune of R. 3,0 billion per day which is the main cause of inflation would be stopped.

When there is a well there is a way.
The PTI Chief said that austerity measures would be put in place. All special perks and privileges of the President, PM, Ministers, and Parliamentarians would be abolished.
Yes – Only those persons should go to parliament who really wants to serve the nation and want to do something for the country. All those who want money and luxury should do their own business or get job somewhere else.
Nonresident Pakistanis would be actively involved by promoting their economic and technical support in the overall economic restructuring in Pakistan. Special tax incentives would be announced for overseas Pakistanis to facilitate their investment in the country.
Will be good initiative.
An education emergency would be declared. The allocations for education would be increased at the rate of 2 percent annually. A process of uniform core curriculum would be initiated. Must
Yeh – Must

Although it’s 100 day work but overall it’s a good and comprehensive plan. I am happy to see that there is no lollypops named “subsidies” which are really harmful for the country and people as well.
There is nothing mentioned about public organizations NIC, PIA etc. These also needs reforms and also need a round of accountability. I think the Heads of these organizations should be recruited through open job placement. And their performance should be measured against assigned targets. If they are not able to deliver, they should be fired.

.
its not the time i thing these bastards should finish there term otherwise they will play sindh card or like MQM jinnah pur card .let them finish and in next election public will kick them out .

Yes - They should finish this term, so that they can not provide any excuse. But we should keep tap on their actions in this period. Now they will try to make as much money as possible because they also know kah "Kal Ho Na Ho"

.
I also feel that we should change our election system as well. I don't know how, but the system should be in a way that it shouldn't require too much investment to get part in election. There are many good people who really want to do something for country but can't go to parliament because the don't have enough finance to take part.
