10 Bodybuilders Who Prove India's Mettle In Bodybuilding

haraam thread !!

why should someone post almost naked male bodies??

where are the maulvis who object to female pictures being posted??

Boxing in my view is sport for real men. It is where you hurt and get hurt real bad.

boxing is a barbaric activity, where two people beat each other and others watch them beat each other.

worse is females taking up boxing.

boxing must be banned.

Why do some bodybuilders spray themselves with nasty colors?

i believe it is to show muscle definition... the color highlights the muscle and the sinews.

I agree and I see where your coming from. However we must recognize that violence is part of the human condition. Boxing allows the controlled expression of that. It feeds from competitive, fighting spirit of humans. So yes it its barbaric but also finest expression of one important aspect of our nature. It distils the hunter gatherer instincts of our ancestors.

I went to a boxing gym in my youth but only lasted few sessions. I then pushed my son who also did not last more then few sessions. However go to any gym and you will walk away with increased respect for the art. The shear tenacity, discipline and training that goes into it is awe inspiring.

This is not like bodybuilding or wrestling. Those are just puffed up showmanships. More for show and acting then anything else. Walk into the boxing gym and it is the real thing bruises and injuries included. That is why those who endure and make it to the top are special humans. Thus my respect for Amir Khan

The thread is about bodybuilding folks.
Anyway, they well done to the chaps. Although I prefer powerlifting to bodybuilding.

Bodybuilding is all show. Boxing in my view is sport for real men. It is where you hurt and get hurt real bad. It tests the mind and body. I did few rounds in my younger years and I found it impossible. The speed, the agility and power required is amazing. The sport is dominated by African people.

And on that score only one guy from our part of the world has just about made a mark and that is British Amir Khan of Pakistan parents.

we have several olympic medals in boxing and wrestling, pak has none which is

worse than africa.

olympic medals in boxing

Nobody has even heard of these guys. Amir Khan is world famous. With 1,275,000,000 Indian people even by mistake probability would be you would get few. No big deal here.

And I would not belittle Africa in this domain because it does very, very well.

Okay, bodybuilding is nothing (because Pakistanis suck at it) and boxing is the real deal (because one Britisher of Pakistani descent is good at it). I assume wrestling is also disqualified on the same ground. Got it, thanks.

But that mistake probability is not working in the case of pakistan which has the population of 180 milon whose inferior wrestlers,MMA fighters, boxers are always beaten by india be it commonwealth or a local event.

You guys have failed to achieve a single Olympic medal since the 1980's. Stop using India as an excuse for your own failures.

There a new British Indian boxer:
BoxRec - Prince Patel

He's a former national amateur champion in the UK and since turning pro he's been undefeated after three fights with 1 knockout, his first interview got 60,000 views as well.

If I follow @Atanz logic i would be looking utterly stupid when I start claiming the achievement of Indian migrants who won Olympic medals for USA.

claiming the achievements and identity of others is the common trait of some pakistanis.

You have just got expatriate Aamir Khan to boast of. We have got many real Indians making our country proud in Boxing arena.

Mohammad Ali Qamar became the first Indian to win a gold medal at the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester.

At the 2008 Beijing Olympics, Vijender Kumar won a bronze medal in the middleweight boxing category, while Akhil Kumar and Jitender Kumar qualified for the quarterfinals. Akhil Kumar, Jitender Kumar, A.L. Lakra, and Dinesh Kumar each won a bronze medal at the 2008 World Championship.

Vijender Singh briefly reached World No.1 in the middle weight (75 kg) category class in 2009, when the International Boxing Association's (AIBA) list was updated after 2009 AIBA World Boxing Championships held in Milan, Where he won India's first medal in an AIBA-WBC.[4]On 29 June 2015, Vijender Singh bid adieu to his amateur career by turning professional as he signed a multi-year agreement with Queensberry Promotions through IOS Sports and Entertainment. This ruled him out of 2016 Olympics as he no longer remains eligible to represent India.

India's Mary Kom is a five-time World Amateur Boxing champion, and the only woman boxer to have won a medal in each one of the six world championships. She also became the first Indian woman boxer to get a Gold Medal at the Asian Games during the 2014 Asian Games at Incheon, South Korea.

Five Indian boxers, three female and two male, were among the world’s top three in AIBA latest world rankings (March 1, 2014) in their respective categories.

Sushil defeated a pak wrestler in just 107 seconds in commonwealth games.

Definitely not a fan of bodybuilders. It looks totally unnatural and they simply pumping up their muscle size.

But hats off to their discipline
