There is as when he was asked for which NGOs which represented the views with him he could name only one. And one more instance is placing a moratorium on commercial release of BT Brinjal due to representations from NGOs even as the PM was saying that the NGOs from Scandinavian countries and US does not understand the developmental difficulties India is having. (though from BT cotton experience, maybe he was right in this case but wanted to point out his eagerness in goin with NGO views).

Every slum had a Tata Sky or Airtel Dish to get satellite television - why can't they dispose off the garbage in bags or why can't the civic administration provide them with toilets?
