Pakistan's forex reserves today stand at $ 15 billion. With 1 billion of USD coming in, the reserves will go up by 7% (1 = 7% of 15)

Thanks for keeping us up todate on Pakistan´s forex reserves.
We missed such service during Musharraf era.

However, unfortunately before the $1 billion comes, we´ll be already spending $10 billion on transit aid to Indian contractors, digging gold from Afghanisatn.

Thanx for such a wonderful article i have read it
So how much comfort do foreign exchange reserves provide in times of extreme market volatility?

Here does this phrase means if i have to answer that , when the currency of pakistan lets say would decline againt the US dollar so Reserve bank of Pakistan can buy in the market with heave money and it would move the market and the currency would stabilize ???
Its a double edged sword really. If the currency becomes too strong, even that's not good. Because it makes exports more difficult as their cost goes up in the market currency. Also with your currency becoming stronger, the imports become cheaper and local industry faces pressure. Hence the Central banks need this reserve as a lever to control this delicate balance.

Congratulations to Pakistan i hope they use this aid to fight terrorism and not

this

Yea Hurray that is what i am talking about , pakistan should use this money againt india ..and buy weapons

With 260 million USD Foreign Military Funding, what kind of weapons are we looking at ? No big tokens, probably JDAMs/TOWs for COIN operations in north west?

Does this means that rumors that PAF will go for remaining 18 new F-16 may become true?

Pakistan will never see a dime. 90% of it will never even leave the US. Most will be billed as "consultancy fee".......
