Addressing press conference at his residence, Miangul Sheheryar, nephew of former governor of Balochistan, Miangul Aurangzeb, said the party workers were not happy with the decision to award party ticket to Habib Ali Shah.

He said the disappointed workers were resigning in protest against the party decision and forcing him to contest the election as independent candidate. He added the PML-N had ignored the sacrifices of his family for the party.
*
Sheheryar said that after the martyrdom of his brother Asfandyar Amirzeb, who had been killed during the election campaign in Swat in 2008, he continued to work for the party in the area. He said that he would contest election on PK-81 as it was the desire of the party workers and the local people.
