What's new

1/11 and BDR mutiny (from an interview with PS to former BAF chief)

.
Some key points:

1. Wing Cmdr Salahuddin Chy (PS to Air Vice Marshall (retd) Fakhrul Azam) doubts the authenticity of the alleged letter from the UN to Army chief asking him to 'take ncessary steps' and warning of sending all BD peacekeeping troops back home if the military fails to do so. He says he saw a copy of the letter himself and thinks that it's extremely unlikely for a letter from the Headquarters of the UN to contain such explicit language.

2. MUA's brother had had business relations with Ashok Leyland for many years. MUA had met the then Indian High Commmissioner several times before and after 1/11 which was unusual for an Army chief.

3. Maj Gen Masud Uddin Chy (then GOC of 9th Inf Div) was a Rakkhi Bahini recruit .

.
^^ But this interview says nothing about the involvement of India in BDR case.

Then are those pictures of Indian RSS agents in PillKhana fake and the story of border crossing by Indian agents with sweet boxs on 21 February fake? :undecided:

Why is it hard for us to accept the grievances of the ranks and files of BDR as a possible cause for the mutiny?

He suggests that the BDR mutiny was revenge for Roumari and that the destruction of the BDR is to India's advantage ...

If you mean the guys with the orange bandanas then there's a plausible explanation for that. They were using different colored clothes that were brought in for BDR week to hide their faces!

Then the interviewer [Thikana] should have directly asked about the pictures which have been found, now things look confusing. The interviewee has attributed the grievance as the main cause of mutiny, but he has not said directly that India exploited this grievance, or how India exploited with the help of local agents/BDR/Army.

But one or two BDR soldiers in those picture do not look like Bangladeshi.

Because, it looks unusual that BDR would resort to such big and risky killing just for grievances.

.
