Great king is back!
Temple of Thanjavur is itself a marvel both architectural and artistic

The Cholas were rapacious, barbaric invaders.

if you have a mental delirium (confusing Emperor Rajaraja Cholan with the Sinhala /Bengali thug Vijaya, you should be in Angoda not in PDF

Lool why Lemurian damils are feeling happy over idol of Hindu Shaivite King Rajaraja Rajendra and the magnificent hindu temples he made.

According to Indians, India is a 5000 year old country... so how can a country steal it's own artifacts?
Now they are giving themselves the artifacts back that they took from themselves? :cheesy:

brainless sanghi cant see the symbolism i.e the return and emergence of Tamil power !!!

FYI, Rajaraja Cholan was responsible for retrieving the Tamil religious texts destroyed by filthy brahmins (whose descendents 60 yrs ago stole his statues and other idols from the temple he built).

If not for him there wont be Tamil Tevarams or Lingayism in Karnataka and the temple was built with the technical assistance of Chinese/Tamil Siddha - Bhogar through Karuvoorar

your kannadiga Hebbar will disagree with your above (highlighted) lie , Siva is Tamil-Dravidian god of Lemuria , nothing to do with Aryan Vedic Brahmanist - Hinduism

god Shiva worshipped in present-day Hinduism is a composite deity. The Aryan Vedic god Rudra became identified with the Dravidian deity Sivan. The facilitations on either side existed to make this gradual mutual identification possible. Thus, by the time of the shaivAgamAs and the purANAs, the two were treated as one god.

watch @ 01:25, why are the the Brahmin Dickshitars of Chidambaram Temple worshipping a Tamil king and queen ? The king who retrieved and saved Tamil saivite religious text (Thevarams) from the clutches of the evil dickshitars in Chidambaram

periyarist / damilas break idols, while sanghi brahmins steal and sell their gods (idols) for money

Raja Raja Chola embarked on a mission to recover the hymns after hearing short excerpts of Thevaram in his court.[66] He sought the help of Nambi Andar Nambi.[67] It is believed that by divine intervention Nambi found the presence of scripts, in the form of cadijam leaves half eaten by white ants in a chamber inside the second precinct in Thillai Nataraja Temple, Chidambaram.[68][67] The brahmanas (Dikshitars) in the temple opposed the mission, but Rajaraja intervened by consecrating the images of the saint-poets through the streets of Chidambaram.[68][69] Rajaraja thus became to be known as Tirumurai Kanda Cholan meaning one who saved the Tirumurai.[69]

Thus far Shiva temples only had images of god forms, but after the advent of Rajaraja, the images of the Nayanar saints were also placed inside the temple.[69] Nambi arranged the hymns of three saint poets Sambandar, Appar and Sundarar as the first seven books, Manickavasagar's Tirukovayar and Tiruvacakamas the 8th book, the 28 hymns of nine other saints as the 9th book, the Tirumandiram of Tirumular as the 10th book, 40 hymns by 12 other poets as the 10th book, Tirutotanar Tiruvanthathi - the sacred anthathi of the labours of the 63 nayanar saints and added his own hymns as the 11th book.[70]

The first seven books were later called as Tevaram, and the whole Saiva canon, to which was added, as the 12th book, Sekkizhar's Periya Puranam (1135) is wholly known as Tirumurai, the holy book. Thus Saiva literature which covers about 600 years of religious, philosophical and literary development.[7
