Seven blunders that will always haunt India

Yaah, but your being busy somewhere else has all to do with your own policies. No-one exported this menace to your country behind your back so let us leave it at that and see the bigger picture of the different approach that our countries have. Ours leave no or little room for ghosts lingering...

FC Commandant Siffat Ghayoor Martyred in Peshawar Blast

From what i read here, this officer must have been one of those men that Pakistan and for that matter India could use a lot. Men of such caliber and honesty are hard to come by. Sadly, in our world they are also the first ones that are dear to God. Hope his soul rests in peace and his family...

Seven blunders that will always haunt India

In fact it was exactly the opposite. India had a policy of trust with its neighbours. We got a bloody nose with that policy from Pakistan and China. So since then we have been careful and it has made a difference but at the same time still trusting other countries around and away from us...

Seven blunders that will always haunt India

7 is just a number. The biggest blunder that India did was to trust our friendly Pakistan and China neighbours. But it will probably not be haunting India too much anymore. The new era is all about economics and India does not see any ghosts that it cannot handle in that field.

    Indian debt trap in Bangladesh

Don't be upset. The guys is just flaming. Any sensible person will understand that the cost of the capital that India has offered is in fact lower than the cost at which Bangladesh Government can internally raise the funds. So the thread opener does not even know what he is talking about...

Cohn: Sikh separatists out of touch with homeland

The majority never speaks bro so let us leave that out. Vested interests was leading the quest and the voilence. And it gets really nice when you have easy funding from our closest friends. Anyway, it is was Indira's folly that snowballed in to the resulting Khalistan movement. The dissonance...

Putin satisfied with Russian fifth-generation fighter tests

I think that is the idea...... The knowledge of the kill ability only acts as a deterrent so the idea is to ensure deterrence from other peaceful friendly countries

Real GDP to grow to $196.58bn in 2010-11

Good numbers. However, normal parlance, it should be read together with the %ile of the loans/grants to the GDP. 1-2% is healthy....I think that for Pakistan it is much higher = 10 + %??

    Why muslims are so sensitive?

Well if you want to go by Pakistan law while requesting the Mods to delete this thread, by all means it should be okay if that is the truth. I sort of looked at it with the idea of a debate about the religion. We do it often in India because it provides all perspectives of any religion or faith...

I completely agree that India needs to do everything it can to ensure that all of its citizens, specially the children, the women and the elderly need to be provided an apt quality of life and education. We do not need to compare anything with any other country. Comparing with others just...

    Kashmir | News & Discussions.

Do not start quoting the plight of Kashmiris to futher Pakistan's nefarious agendas. The soldiers that you all "Pansy" are not bombing their own countrymen from several thousand feet in the air or shelling their homes from several kilometers away. They have the balls to be on the ground and...

Pakistan to get 10,000 MW power plant

Can someone please update the scenario with the Rental Power Plants idea earlier being explored to curtail the short term deficit of power in Pakistan. I thought that the Government had been vigorously chasing that angle to ensure that there was no power deficit this year at all. The RPPs were...

World's second-tallest building under construction in Mecca

While I am all for development and building of symbolic monuments but as a whole the "tall building" fever is hugely impinging on the sustainability aspecst of the architecture in our modern day soceity. The carbon footprint and the relative "cradle to grave" scenario for such tall monuments is...

India to train BD PM's security personnel (by NSG) and BD army (by CIJWS)

Indians could take similar exception to the loosely thrown "hegemonic" term too Moderator. That has already taken away my personal intent to contribute to this thread. Thank you.

Obama tells PM he's 'very fond of Pakistan'

Actually I implied exactly the opposite here considering that there has been one exact experience of Pakistan of not getting the "paid for" F-16s due to one similar waiver that was required from the POTUS (??). So my view will be just the same to happen for the bill by M/s Kerry and Lugar too...
