PLAAF hasn't made up its mind yet whether to choose this bird (FC-31) or stick with J-20 as a only 5th generation aircraft prior shift to 6th generation.
The PLAAF bird will most likely be designated as the J-31 (no information available of its development) if they choose the SAC option.
J-35...
Wrong perception totally ....
Since decades, the same formula has been followed: it is always our military establishments who select the politicians to govern the country (certainly the corrupt ones) in order to exploit and control them, then get rid of them by declaring them inept or corrupt.
This mantra will no longer be propagated.....
Selling dead bodies of our Jawans (propagating that PAK Army giving sacrifices for homeland) to innocent Pakistanis in the name of the war on terror while negligently sending poor jawans in regular pickup trucks to war zones rather than armored...
Indeed.....
Now that it has been proved that the military establishment is to blame for all wrongdoing and improper action in our country (controls Judiciary/Bureaucracy/police/media/corporate & private sector/religious fanatic's), accountability inside this institution offers the best chance...
Though we are discussing the proposed/concept AS-3600's weapons loadout (AAW & AShW capabilities) for Jinnah FFG, we haven't yet discussed the following crucial elements:
- Radars/Sensors
- ASuW
- Propulsion (CODAG/COGAG/IEP ??)
- Command & Control systems
- And others
Respected members, let's...
Kindly refer to my following post....
To further elaborate my aforementioned post, following are the Possibilities:
For front VLS (32 cells) AD role, either one from below -
Quad pack CAMM-ER/MR (10 x 80-100km) with Sylver-A50/70
Quad pack Siper B2 (30 x 150km) with MIDLAS
For center VLS...
Since a poster misunderstood what I stated, let me clarify. I meant to say that the construction will take place in Turkey, and the timeline (late 2025 - launching date) is entirely reasonable if steel cutting starts in late 2024.
Hope this suffice someone...
"Its hard to explain puns to...
One thing is certain: JCF, like the Babur and Yarmook classes and the planned MLU for F22Ps, will combine European, Turkish, and Chinese weapon and sensor systems with indigenous ones as well.
If all goes as planned, the first JCF class ship would be launched somewhere in 2025; therefore, it is...
Respected members kindly stick to the thread & avoid to derail it.
Thanks...
Don't try to derail the thread as we are talking about JCF design & its specifications....
Siper B2 missiles (150x30km) is a potent system but has not yet undergone extensive testing and is not yet in service as quad pack in MIDLAS, but with the aforementioned range, it will unquestionably be out perform CAMM-ER.
Can it be quad packed? As for I-class, they aren't. If possible, that would be an intriguing choice.
Since PN already selected the quad pack CAMM-ER system for the Babur and Yarmook classes hence keeping the uniformity of the system, it was suggested.
It might be interesting. While we are fairly certain that the quad pack CAMM-ER/MR with Sylver-A50 VLS system would be the best option for frontal VLS.
Though unsure which type/system will be chosen for the center's VLS long-range AshM. This will depend on whether the PN chooses indigenous...
Exactly, the ASFAT director's response in that article is quite intriguing, which is what prompted me to ask the question.....
"Speaking to Naval News, ASFAT officials stated that AS3600 is a conceptual design and there is no certain timeline for the project yet. “When we materialize it into...
