i think its about super su 30 mki and article mislead with term 5th gen fighter ... it can get some tech from 5th gen but cannot modified to that level easily ..

its really long time ,, 10 year are enough to induct more than 200 aircraft .... now just 10 year to upgrade them .. its very long time even work done in batches giving only 6 jet will be upgraded in a year and what of tech will be obsolete in 2020 cause every fighter will be upgraded to same...

i think we should start inducting LCA as it now and customize it as iaf want and upgrade them later upgrade them with indigenous system when available we must quick induct trainer jet as soon as possible .. better training will surely minimize rate of crashes my salute to pilot

I think 45 squadron are only for fighter jet . . Cause total of 45 will be less
