It's a RAW deal for intel agency

NEW DELHI: At a time when Pakistan has for the first time managed to bring its troubled Baluchistan province in the official dialogue framework with India, it's perhaps ironical that India's external intelligence...
1. It is hard to say exactly what the stated objectives were, since a public (an unbiased one specifically) has not come from Pakistan. However, it is assumed that the idea was to rekindle the armed struggle and by taking the vantage area of Kargil heights, almost cut indian troops in siachen...
It doesn't matter who won the brownie points in killing the other's troops by fighting valiantly. The end result is that Kargil was retaken by India partly through military muscle and partly through diplomatic and political pressure. In that effect it was a victory for India & the retreat for...
This thread and the responses by the Pakistanis has proved that when push comes to shove, they, or any muslim dominated country (a few exceptions apart) wouldn't lift a finger to so much as even criticize such atrocities, against fellow muslims. This is one reason why the Islamic voice hardly...
I believe it is the same for Pakistan. I don't recollect them crying about the Rohignya people even though their a muslim ethnic minority suffering. All the crocodile tears about muslim "brotherhood" is generally b(i)ased only in favour of their community or land disputes with neighbouring nations.
I think mistreatment of civilians exists on both sides, be it minorities or "seditionists". But the stark contrast is that China is a huge firewall that doesn't allow these things to be telecast. I didn't see anything about Tibetian problems when I went to the Olympics in China. It was all hunky...
The third picture reminded me of the imperialistic troops from the star wars movie marching on some desolate outpost of its empire against the rebel army, when there were only buddhist monks.
lol. Call that overkill or what.

Top 10 Shortest Wars
According to the list of the shortest wars, the '71 Indo-Pak war figures in the top 3, next only to the 6 day war & the farcical Zanzibar-Britain war which lasted 38 minutes.
This might be pretty old, but interesting nonethelss, as per CIA world factbook the top military as & of the GDP are all islamic nations based in the middle east. Interesting indeed.
Rank country (% of GDP) Date of Information
1 Oman 11.40 2005 est.
2 Qatar 10.00 2005...
True, I forgot Israel, but that a secret. heh.
And it's possible that Pak, caught up as it wer ein their own hole that they dug will not come to China's help, much like '62 war. But back then the difference between chian and india was too huge that they didn't bother to turn up.
I think it's time to objectively analyze what'll be the outcome of a war currently.
PLA is numerically stronger than India, and has a local satrap in Pakistani Army who'll come to their aid, if neeeded. So, if the war begins, PLA will be at an advantage. However, their airforce is not the...
A different source put that figure at around 65 - 74%. Dunno how or where those "surveys" were conducted in china. AS usual orchestrated by the state media & tells us nothing, except what they want to propaganda.

New technology, software being acquired to bring warzones and command centres closer
Wars are fought on the battlefield and not on the strategy table. This is what commanders would say. But the wars of...
Yes, our intelligence is quite frankly, pathetic.
And the leadership at that time was nothing to write home about. Had it been Indira Gandhi, maybe it would have been better.
