Actually India doesn't have anything that could be closer to A30D Volvo. These are huge ones. You should see the truck in desert. We use it at our site in desert if nothing else works.
Volvo has production in India. May be they can shift the entire production unit to india if the order is huge.
Missle Firings are done on older versions as training before shelf life of the missile is over. Certain new techs are tested on in production versions of missiles too.

Can we use Dhruv III for the same with navy requirement rotor design? Shakthi engine is better than the one used by 429 and could fall cheaper than 429 due to huge number of Dhruvs being produced. Vibration issues in DHruv I is rectified in mark III.
definitely not as much as converting gorshkov to vikramaditya but will be major change. The arrestor mechanism is too big plus approach radar and stuff.. too many thing. and you cant take off and land together. Better to go for our own. If we can sort out issues on the Vikrant then second one...
Viraat and Juan Carlos are STOVL, only vertical landing. Migs and LCA requires STOBAR, short take off but arrested recovery. I dont think mistral can do even short take off, not very sure its designed for that.
