Internal combustion engine based cars pay 28% gst and cess of upto 22% (based on the what type of the vehicle it is) where as EVs pay only 5% gst and 0 cess
so now you tell me which one is going to be more lucrative.
Eg. A Jeep Compass with a base price of $17000 ends up costing nearly $25000...
And How does that negate my point, that there have been successful JV between defence companies of two bitter enemies.
And before you point out the changed geopolitical scenario, the rest of my earlier comment was explaining why a JV would still be possible because USA won't sanction an indian...
Even US companies have JV with NPP Zvezda https://www.nytimes.com/1998/12/02/nyregion/metro-business-new-factory-to-use-russian-technology.html
Not to mention NPP only manufactures ejection seats and nothing else, so them getting sanctioned is pretty unlikely but even if we assume that buying...
HAL in talks withs NPP Zvezda for setting up a JV for their K 36 ejection seat.

They replaced the Israeli radar with an American one not a Korean one.
The proposed Korean radar is an air cooled one, and so far we have only seen a model of that radar, this radar is still years away.

How has this become a prestige project, the fighter that came out of the project has it's use cases and is useful against Pakistan, it would have been a prestige project if we continued the project even though the resulting aircraft had no use for us which is clearly not the case.
Resources...
Did you not read the first sentence "Tejas was aimed at establishing a comprehensive aerospace ecosystem in India" obviously development of subsystems will be included in the project timeline, WTF is so hard to understand in it.
Sure you can argue whether this was the right approach or not, but...
If you look from a purely technical perspective FA 50 has more Israeli and American content than Tejas, so if percentage of foreign content is your only criteria, Tejas mk1a fares better than FA 50
Dude you are embarrassing yourself.
You said it yourself our 1st cryogenic engine came online in 2013, meaning 20 years later and the engines bought from the Russians were used up in launch vehicles by then so how can we reverse engineer a spent engine.
Now if you claim we first disassembled...
I wrote this article on addressing the criticisms against the Tejas aircraft not the Tejas project, obviously Tejas program had project management failure at multiple levels and no one is denying that, but that blame should be put on HAL, IAF and MoD not the aircraft.
Nobody is brushing away...

Duck off mate, my intention of opening this thread was purely educational so if you want to do trolling, go on some other thread, there are already a million threads about tejas present here, go do you shenanigans there
