    Presidential system in Türkiye.

Sort of. He was clearly a dictator, but he never assumed any military rank above colonel. His generals, technically outranked him. His highest government position was actually prime minister, but he preferred to be called, 'Brotherly Leader and Guide of the Revolution'...which wasn't even in...

    Presidential system in Türkiye.

Well, I don't think it was the office they held that made them despots. Case in point, Gaddafi was never President of Libya.

I think when they start to go over 10,000 tons, it's time to start calling them a Cruiser.

    Pro-Russia Rex Tillerson-US State Sec.

President-elect Donald Trump is expected to name former CEO of Exxon, Rex Tillerson, as his pick to be Secretary of State. Mr. Tillerson has no government or diplomatic experience but has close contacts with officials from all over the world, as one would expect of the head of a major energy...

Trump & Boeing: It's not about Air Force One, it's about China

The irony is lost on them that the entire thread is about Chinese obsession with Trump.

Is Pakistan And Russia’s ‘Friendship’ A Big Myth?

It is a good article but I think this about sums up the reality... Btw, the real myth is any lasting Russian-Chinese alliance. China would dominate Russia, economically, militarily, etc., and that is the last thing in the world that the Russia of today will countenance.

India Took a Shocking 33 Years to Develop a Jet Fighter (And It’s Still Not Ready for Combat)

Developing any new fighter takes, much more time than it did in the 2nd or 3rd gen fighters. Both the USA and Russia are still mostly flying fighters that are of 1970's designs. The F-35 has taken many, many, years and is only now being deployed. IOW, I am not critical of India's efforts and...

Hindus to get First Temple in Islamabad

I can think of one: That it would be consistent with the religious and historic traditions of Islam. The Prophet Muhammed, (Peace and blessings be upon him), guaranteed religious tolerance, wherever he established the Islamic faith. It's a noble tradition. I've always admired that about...

The 9th F/A-18 crashed in less than 6 months, poor quanlity control cost lives

Another thread whose sole purpose is anti-American propaganda. It has nothing whatsoever to do with F-18's. It has nothing whatsoever to do with aircraft safety. Just typical scared, little boy, Chinese, trying so pathetically and desperately, to prove their weenie is bigger than the other...

Sickening & probably illegal- Foreigners posing with their dead "trophies"

In Germany, you may be thinking of raised animals on private land, as they become the landowners property. he feeds them, he controls them. Again, it depends on the species and the individual animal. When I hunted there, which was popular with US military guys stationed there, it was very...

Sickening & probably illegal- Foreigners posing with their dead "trophies"

I haven't hunted in Turkey but I most certainly have in Europe and you are quite wrong. Only animals classified as "vermin", (foxes, raccoons, etc.) who's populations have to be controlled, can be killed without eating them. As for actual game animals, if you kill game animals such as deer...

Sickening & probably illegal- Foreigners posing with their dead "trophies"

So like I said, unless you are an absolute vegetarian who uses no fur, no leather, no animal products of any kind, you're just being a hypocrite. You don't have any objection to an animal being killed for your use.....as long as you can pay someone else to do it for you. Btw, unless Pakistan...

Sickening & probably illegal- Foreigners posing with their dead "trophies"

That's a little broad as there may be some species that are hunted that are endangered, but I doubt most are. No one bothered to try and post any information from Pakistan's game management or wildlife agencies, so I don't know for certain. And in most places around the world, one of the best...

Sickening & probably illegal- Foreigners posing with their dead "trophies"

Then the thread title for example, should probably have made that point rather than blaming "foreigners". Kind of makes me think it is more about that than concern for wildlife. Then the proper scorn belongs to who is actually responsible for such unethical practices; the government of Pakistan.

Sickening & probably illegal- Foreigners posing with their dead "trophies"

Funny how the thread author conveniently left out the easily obtained Pakistan hunters and others who were NOT rich Americans or Europeans. Wonder why that is? I and every other ethical hunter, is against hunting an endangered species but that is up to the Pakistani government to manage...
