It's not exactly about the formation of a new company, but I think you will like what the source-link has to say because it is about the localization of 15000 parts that Aselsan uses on it's own products, and therefore battling the trade deficit...
Aselsan's current strategy is to expand by way of acquiring other companies foreign and domestic, with money it raised from an 'initial public offering' (IPO). So it's strategy is to expand, a company with aspirations and capital like that is highly unlikely to be sold. Not to mention that...
It has 5 propeller wings. The 5'th wing is blocked in the picture, it is behind the nose of the engine. If you look closely at the other 4 propeller wing's placement, you should be able make out that there should be a 5'th somewhere behind the nose.
This:
"Karasu münferit yatırım yerinde savunma sanayii tesislerine yönelik 222 hektar alan üzerinde üretim tesisleri temeli atılacak" (factory)
And this:
"250 adet ALTAY tankı üretimi için sözleşme imzalanacakALTAY motor ve güç aktarım sistemleri üretimi için sözleşme takvimi başlatılacak"...
I don't think they are talking about the wages of employees here, but rather how much Aselsan earns per employee.
And by the way, you make more than 65 million a year?:o:
I really hope so, and I hope many companies will follow BMC in this regard. This 5 mega industrial zone development project is the project I am most hyped for. Only 4 are mentioned in the article, the 5th one will be on the Aegean sea, in or near Izmir, but not sure what the theme of it will be.
Serial production will probably go in parallel to this project: "Karasu münferit yatırım yeri". The theme: "Münferit Yatırım Yeri'nde, savunma sanayi, raylı sistemler ve ticari araçlar gibi üretimler gerçekleştirilecek."
BMC is one of the first one's that will open a facility there, but not...
The more they want Brunson released, and taking extreme measures to do so, the more I think Brunson is guilty.
If you put US harboring FETO on top of this, it seems more and more likely that the US was behind the failed coup a couple of years ago. Personally I am already convinced the US was...
@Combat-Master
Do you happen to know of any R&D projects concerning Graphene in Turkey?
According to this link (https://www.ntv.com.tr/teknoloji/teknolojide-grafen-devrimi,hN_IrtGEg0SvpfgqRj2BJQ), Tubitak and Sabanci university have some projects ongoing, but haven't really heard anything. I'm...
Surprised to find out Yital has been existing since the 80's. I thought it was a newly established company.
Edit:
AB Mikro Nano was the newly established company (by Aselsan and Bilkent university) that I was thinking about...
Our goal isn't 100% localisation though, it's about 80+ to 90% localisation with the most strategic components being among this. And even if a (strategic) component isn't local, they want to have the capability to produce it locally if the situation calls for it.
I don't think so, we aren't co-developing TF-X with the UK. We get technical support from them. These negotiations seem to seem to be more about co-development.
Japan is also looking for a partner, but my impression is that Japan is looking more for a financier, rather than technological...
After the coup in Egypt, the constitution got suspended. And now I am sure Egypt has a new constitution, since that was part of the roadmap? Evren also made a new constitution and this new constitution got implemented via a referendum even. And decades later we are still paying the price for...
Thanks for the research. I did come across Royal Air Maroc though, and that it had maintenance services. I just assumed that maintenance services are standard for main national airliners and didn't really look further into it. These companies seem to be more about maintenance and repairs though...
