I keep my fingers crossed that our old WW1 ally Germany will one day break its chains from "US captivity in its own land", and again become truly independent. Möge Gott mit deinem Volk sein.
France and UAE must be going mad over all this. :)
Roads.
It's at the intersection point of 3 important roads and connects Tripoli to the country's southeast.
I cringe every time I see Stingers being shown as our "national air defense". Fancy-looking launchers, sure, but ultimately what they're launching is a tiny SHOULDER MOUNTABLE missile. I do understand that it's part of a "layered" defense. That's beside the point. Thanks to S-400, we now have a...
Turks have nothing against American folks either because we know that the common Joe doesn't get to have any input on US' foreign policy. It's y'alls politicians that's the problem.
Germans don't buy American military defense products because they're stupid, they buy them because they have to. You see, Germany has been under constant US military occupation ever since the Nazis lost in WW2. There are currently over 40,000 US troops stationed there in many bases throughout...
@Figaro Same logic applies both ways. Turkey is a NATO member and US relies on Turkey for its Middle East strategy, and Turkey happens to be EU's #6 trade partner. Why would they want to cut their ties with such an important partner and customer for, as you said, no apparent gain? Especially...
Can you elaborate on that a bit? How did all the rest of the current nuclear powers acquire their nukes with US and Russia "involved"? What if Turkey leaves the INF? What if Turkey works a deal and creates some sort of geopolitical pact with a currect nuclear power? Since Turkey is a G20 country...
You do realize that the USAF has a ton of other military assets besides the F-22 and F-35, right? In fact, if you were to remove ALL the F-22s and F-35s today, USAF would still remain the world's most powerful Air Corce by a long margin. They're not relying on the F-35 at all. At least not yet...
Yeah, that certainly raises an eyebrow. Another couple of interesting details in Birkov's video are:
1. He mentions that Turkey has shut down an American company from mining for Uranium in Turkey. Could this mean Turkey is now mining that location for its own national energy/weapons purposes...
So, he has a better success rate than most American think-tanks.
Interesting video though. It has good infographics. I learned quite a bit about Turkey's options.
