Body mass index of Indian 19-year-olds among lowest in 200 countries

You mentioned Li Na then proceeded to ignore women's tennis anyway. As I said, that only made you look worse. And look, you just did it again, claiming China is a laggard in tennis compared to India based solely on the Davis Cup ranking, which is a men's tournament. Just couldn't help being a...

Body mass index of Indian 19-year-olds among lowest in 200 countries

Oh, quite determined to rest on past laurels ain't you? And no I never claimed that you didn't mention Li Na. My question was why did you claim India was one of the best in Asia and China was a laggard in tennis when China did much better in women's tennis than India. That you specially...

Body mass index of Indian 19-year-olds among lowest in 200 countries

When did Vijay Amritraj retire? We're not talking ancient history ain't we? So please tell me how did you reach your conclusion that India was one of the best at tennis in Asia while China was a laggard, when China's only slight behind India in men's tennis and much ahead of India in women's...

Chinese consumers account for a third of global spending on luxury goods, the figure to reach 45 percent or more by 2025

Agree. One of the greatest benefits of Trump's tech war on China was to reawaken the idea that to keep the economy healthy and sustainable a country has to make better things rather than buying expensive things with borrowed money. Besides the curb on Ant, one key to the dual circulations...

Body mass index of Indian 19-year-olds among lowest in 200 countries

FIBA Asia Zone is not Asia. Neither Australia nor New Zealand is located in Asia. I'll admit China did poorly in the last FIBA Asian Cup in 2017, but China beat Iran at the 2018 Asian Games. In any case, China is still number 2 in Asia even if you go by the FIBA ranking. India is at the top of...

China gearing up to defeat India deceivly in 02 years time

China doesn't want a full-scale war with India. The only strategic goal justifies China starting a full-scale war is the breaking up of India, and no country other than India's neighbors want China to dismember India by force, so that's not happening.

Body mass index of Indian 19-year-olds among lowest in 200 countries

Yes because ordinary people do a lot of 'tactics, decision making, engineering and strategy' when they drive. China doesn't care about cricket (who outside the Commonwealth does?) or hockey. And thank you for thinking India being 'near the top in Asia' makes it good and Chinese basketball being...

Body mass index of Indian 19-year-olds among lowest in 200 countries

China completely dominates table tennis and does very well in weightlifting, badminton and to a less degree swimming. We also dominate basketball in Asia. These are all popular sports/activities that ordinary people actually participate. I have never been to a college residence hall without...

Body mass index of Indian 19-year-olds among lowest in 200 countries

Not true. Chinese women's volleyball team is one of the best and the winner at the 2016 Olympics. For men, China dominates men's basketball at the Asian Games. Chinese men's national football team is a joke though, that I'll admit.

Opinionated - Solution to the Kashmir Dispute

Oh, stop changing the topic. How do you like my proposal about the pretender Tibetan-in-exile government and Gang Rinpoche? After all you thought Tibetans would be happy to give their holy mountain to India. Surely it would boost the pretender government's popularity in Tibet, right?

Body mass index of Indian 19-year-olds among lowest in 200 countries

The graph above is from a different, earlier study. The data in the Lancet study are national averages with more than 100 separate data sources all over China. Data in Beijing would be higher.

Opinionated - Solution to the Kashmir Dispute

Do us a favor and ask the pretender Tibetan-in-exile government you host to publicly declare Gang Rinpoche a part of India. Although they're by now pretty harmless it would still be fun to watch them sabotaging themselves.

Body mass index of Indian 19-year-olds among lowest in 200 countries

It's a peer-reviewed article from one of the world's most prestigious medical journal. I'd trust the data over my own anecdotal evidence.

Opinionated - Solution to the Kashmir Dispute

Seriously are you out of your mind? Read my post earlier. Gang Rinpoche ("Mount Kailash") is one of the holiest place in Tibetan Buddhism. Also Mapham Gyumtsho ("Lake Manasarovar") is considered a holy lake by Tibetans. China is never going to trade them away. Also China has no desire...

Opinionated - Solution to the Kashmir Dispute

China could be more than reasonable with our friends. We redraw the border with North Korea to give them a corner of the Heaven Lake on the Changbai Mountains because of its importance to the Korean founding myth, even though the lake was 3km inside the old China-Korea border. Chinese...

Featured Australian Import Bans Show the Sharp Edge of China’s Economic Power

By marketing your universities overseas you're asking people to study in your country. It's that simple. I don't know why you felt the need to claim that no one in Australia had ever asked the Chinese to study there.

The Muslim world is economically self-sufficient due to it's vastness and with a common currency could have worlds largest economy

Hard to take seriously any proposal that involves garbing a giant piece of land from Russia. Garbing land from China is one thing, Russia is on a whole other level. I wouldn't want my children to live in nuclear wastelands.

Seriously? Have you been to any of those education expos Australian universities regularly hold in China?

Featured Australian Import Bans Show the Sharp Edge of China’s Economic Power

Some goods are easier to substitute than others, and economic cost can bring geopolitical dividends. China should aim for a balance in trade with Australia. For easily substituted goods like lobsters, wine and coal, redirect imports from Australia to the U.S. or ASEAN (Indonesia exports a lot of...

China halts Ant Group's giant IPO after dust up with billionaire Jack Ma

Ant is in the business of providing high interests loans to individuals who's unable to pass the credit check for a traditional credit card. China has no procedure for personal bankruptcy. Ma is basically on a mission to turn the country's poor to his indentured servants.
