Darky - Just one correction. THat is incorrect - modified Su 30 will be capable of carrying only one Brahmos - and not 2-3 Brahmos. Older ones are not capable to carry even one ! This was later confirmed by Sivanthu pillai - even though there is a pic floating around which shows 2-3 Brahmos...

Very jealous of these folks...used to dive regularly off the cost of Oahu and in Molokini...the sights to see are something that you just cannot see elsewhere....I miss those days !!!

What happened ? It was a national emergency - India would have nevertheless gone ahead and integrated those LGB's regardless of French support being/not being there. French did a wise thing of supporting us. But now - there is no national emergency !

I doubt if this will happen !! French are stubborn - they really wouldnt want to take away any market share from Local arms manufacturers (Damocles) - esp if they are willing to drop the price !! On the other hand - India should just keep up the pressure - Litening is considered to be advanced...

Who said that ? Only F18 failed its test in Ladakh - there are reports that even Mig had problems - not sure if its related to Ladakh. Gripen in fact was very successful in Ladakh. The only reason Gripen got disqualified is because of Radar technology.
