Dr. Afridi worked with a foreign intelligence agency that culminated to an attack on Abottabad. Snowden and Manning did not, they made information public for all to see about wrong doings of the government. Obviously they couldn't go to the government when their findings were against the...
Where there are differences, there are similarities too. Arabs are very particular about greetings, they are almost always first to give Salam. Their hospitality is always quite generous when you're invited to their homes. When they will praise you, they will go out of their way to sing songs...
Is there any website with the relevant documented Saudi Law on this matter? In UAE, a lot of Arab girls (non-Emirati) wear Hijab and modest jeans.
Emiratis wear Abaya, but not always cover their heads. Abaya is sort of a fashion thing for them or more correctly it is a cultural thing. Not...
He must have agreed to their demand to stop releasing anything new damaging the US from there here on, a key Russian requirement. After seeing what the Americans did to Manning, I think it was wise of him to just count his blessings.
It is being said that Obama is really ticked off about all...
I would understand Arab culture. But if you're going to be specific, for a westerner, it would have to be Emirati culture (amongst gulf Arabs).
Saudi Arabia's Burkha requirement is a big no no for even (most) Pakistani girls.
The US constitution in spirit is all about Freedoms, freedom of speech, freedom of information and rights to privacy. In actuality he did something very American, while even though @gambit protests that 'this is not China', Obama did something reminiscent of China of the 80s.

All people who can embarass the US end up receiving huge sentences. Aafia Siddiqui got 86 years since the US wanted to hide her story of being raped as a means of torture, Manning may get 100+ years because he has been stripped naked and put in solitary confinement as means of abuse.

He should not get into a fight with the courts, just apologize and live to fight another day. Judge sahab farigh honay walay hain so hopefully the next one would not be as sharif a judge as this one.
I think all Muslim countries need to form an invasion force and pacify Syria otherwise these people will create the biggest genocide and destruction of Islamic places in history. It could also be part of a UN peacekeeping mission, if UN does not agree then Muslim nations should do it on their own.
If you think about it, the man brought you the true faith. Allah chose him. He was Allah's favorite. One can't bear to hear such language against a family member, he is after all several degrees higher. I understand the importance of tolerance, the Prophet himself taught as much. But its beyond...
Criticism and abuse are two different things. Muslims can take criticism, and they do because they even like to do their duty to refute or correct misconceptions. However abuse is not tolerable. Its an issue of love, when you love someone so much, you don't think rationally rather emotionally.
If they are ill equipped and that causes them to not go and fight criminals they should officially declare it. Everyone will make their own security arrangements.
That is not the issue here... That is a separate debate that Muslims need to be equally tolerant of abuse of their Prophets (which includes Jesus) or not.
Here for no reason a historical academic research of Christ is being questioned by supposedly secularists of the US.
