if it has an space of an AESA and can carry even 3 or lets say 2 BVRs and flies even at the speed 1.6 mach i think 2 BVR's are even enough for an aircraft what ever gen it belongs to except 5th ofcourse.....

putting AESA, a good EW suite and a BVR missile on the craft makes it as good as any 4th or 4th+ gen aircraft if not better thats not an answer dude thats dodging the question :coffee:

i read some one just said MK2 will be a different league can i ask what would be so different about MK2 ?? change in airframe ?? or internal weapons bay to make it stealthy ?? or more hard point to make it from light aircraft to medium aircraft ???

so does that means by the time our JFT blck 3 is about to get to mass production your MK1 will be ready Correct ?? So if MK2 is getting massive upgrades than it will get its mass production lets just say by 2020 so wouldn't the tejas be irrelevent becasuse FGFA would be only 4 to 5 years away...
