Foreign envoys urge Pakistan to condemn Russian invasion of Ukraine during emergency UNGA session

It was a a pre-planned visit. We could not unnecessarily insult a superpower.

Pakistan's GIDS offers various weapon systems for export at World Defence Forum in Riyadh.

Its almost certain that we do. Turbojets are a fairly simple (I mean mechanically simple) and missile jets don't have to be rated for 5000 hours flying time.

Featured Project Azm: Pakistan's Ambitious Quest to Develop 5th Generation Military Technologies.

I would like to point out that when the nuclear program was ongoing, there were lots of “leaks” which “quoted knowledgeable sources” saying that the program “was dead” “put on the back burner” “people quietly leaving, reassigned”. @JamD @Bilal Khan (Quwa)

Can Pakistan Manufacture Civil Nuclear Power Plants without Chinese Help?

Again, people are concentrating on the technical issue and ignoring the commercial and economic feasibility. We can make reactors. We have shown if by commissioning multiple ones of our local design and manufacture. Generating power on the other hand has to be commercially feasible.

Pakistan's next generation national warships: Jinnah Class Frigates

BrahMos has a range of 400 km. Getting that closer to our coast means running gauntlet of not just the surface based Harbah's and C-802's. which are in service now, but the missles from coastal vessels like Azmats and Jalats along with air power. To wit an Indian task force will have to sail for...

Pakistan's next generation national warships: Jinnah Class Frigates

There really zilch reason to employ 5 different classes of frigates, unless they each bring unique capability. Both the Yarmooks, and Baburs are frigates in size and capability despite being labelled as Corvettes, although it appears Yarmooks are being used in the coastal defence role. I...

Pakistan's next generation national warships: Jinnah Class Frigates

I actually disagree @Bilal Khan (Quwa). By 2030 Blue water Surface Action task forces will likely be comprised of 1x Jinnah class 1xTughril 1x Babar 1X SSK It makes sense that the Jinnahs will concentrate more on surface warfare while the other two do coordinate air and subsurface. Data links...

Pakistan's next generation national warships: Jinnah Class Frigates

Depends on how big the VLS are and what they are packing. 16 SAM's sucks. 16 Hypersonic P272 is a deadly warship. Yes. USN and now PLAN DDG are designed to escort carrier and amphibious groups. Our warships are meant to lead surface action groups. USN DDG's especially have limited AShM...

Can Pakistan Manufacture Civil Nuclear Power Plants without Chinese Help?

Technically, yes. Practically, no. A nuclear plant is a nuclear plant. Whether its for making Plutonium, like Khushab, or generating electricity like Chashma or Karachi. When you are making Plutonium, heat is waste. You run it just enough to have the fuel transmute to Plutonium and then remove...

Putting Ra'ad CM on our warships

Ra'ad II has a range of 600KM. Its fairly small, and won't take up too much deck space. We can place three ABL of 4 missile each, forward, aft and amidships. It will admittedly need a rocket booster to get it to launch speed, but thats manageable. Its stealthy, has a small RCS, a 450kg warhead...

It’s isn’t gloomy. Progress is never linear, it happens in fits and starts. No one is inherently backward.

5 Pakistani Soldiers Martyred in Attack by Terrorists from Afghanistan in Kurram District

Troops are exposed when construction is happening and they may be bunched up close together, making for easy targets. Usually when we are expecting resistance, we first flatten anything which looks suspicious.
