This is several years too late, and still meaningless without any tangible punitive actions against the incumbent government. The Awami League has been using State machinery to persecute and decimate the political opposition for years now.

That debate, a country for Muslims vs a country based on Islam, is still ongoing and outside of the scope of this thread. I feel the same - I would use all manner of debating tactics and 'legalese' to defend the Army, not because I was being disingenuous or lying, but because I genuinely thought that the accusations against them were unfair and they needed defending. Not anymore.
