Poor Pakistan Producing Third Generation Tanks!

You know I am as big a critic (now) of the Army as anyone else, but these threads should be limited to technical discussions/questions about the system, its acquisition and deployment tactics etc. Raising questions about the effectiveness of the system in potential future conflicts is...

The Luxurious lives of Pakistani Generals - Top Google Story

If it leads to adding pressure on the Pakistani military to stop their violations of the constitution and fascist polices to stifle dissent and become more transparent and allow the necessary reforms in the institution, then there is nothing wrong with it. Pakistan's biggest enemy right now is...

The Luxurious lives of Pakistani Generals - Top Google Story

But what exactly are the ‘sheep’ going to do about it? Can’t put the entire burden on Imran Khan to carry - people need to organize protests themselves against the deteriorating state of the country.

Tough Job for Boot Polish brigade

Because those by-elections and local elections don’t really change the power dynamic. The real test will be whether the courts allow all these frivolous cases against PTI leaders and supporters to proceed and whether the PTI is allowed to win the next elections with a massive majority. Even...

Tough Job for Boot Polish brigade

I agree - those are unfortunately the only viable options to remove a fascist Military Junta … but lets hold off on the calls for mutiny and revolution until the results of the next election become obvious and how the Supreme Court handles all the political motivated cases against PTI leaders...

Farm House of Azam Swati is being Partially Demolished in Islamabad

I would also like to point out that true, successful revolutions don’t need a leader to start. A leader can help protests expand and stoke the flames of unrest and discontent into a raging inferno, but the initiative needs to be taken by citizens first and foremost. Are a majority of Pakistanis...

Farm House of Azam Swati is being Partially Demolished in Islamabad

I see it differently. Imran Khan understands that the Pakistan Army is behind a lot of these fascist policies, violations of the constitution and manipulation of State institutions to persecute critics and the PTI, and any successful revolution will severely damage those institutions and...

The United States is concerned about the harassment and arrest of opposition activists

This is several years too late, and still meaningless without any tangible punitive actions against the incumbent government. The Awami League has been using State machinery to persecute and decimate the political opposition for years now.

Lahore court acquits Rana Sanaullah in narcotics case

The arrest and all evidence for this case was made by the ANF, which is run by a serving Army general. So blame the Army for ‘political victimization’, not the PTI, which merely followed the information provided by the ANF. Another reason why the Circus of Khaki wearing clowns called the Army...

Talal Chaudhry Criticising The Former First Lady on Corruption Allegations

Unsubstantiated Allegations like these don’t require a response since we know the PMLN is basically a fascist party of barking dogs and shite flinging monkeys backed by Fascist Circus Monkeys wearing Army Uniforms. Thread closed and negative rating given to OP.

Pakistani journalists, human rights activists no longer safe even in exile from Pakistan's Army

That speaks to a much deeper malaise in India then, that a fascist leader has such popular support, domestically and amongst the Indian diaspora. But lets leave that discussion for another thread please.

Pakistani journalists, human rights activists no longer safe even in exile from Pakistan's Army

With Modi in charge? Surely you jest that the description of India being fascist currently is inaccurate.

Pakistani journalists, human rights activists no longer safe even in exile from Pakistan's Army

The Establishment made blending fact with fiction a lot easier with its actions. I mean, who's going to buy the Fauj's argument of, "well, we violated the constitution here, overthrew a government there, abducted, tortured and/or killed XYZ journalists, BUT we didn't kill ABC journalist or...

Pakistani journalists, human rights activists no longer safe even in exile from Pakistan's Army

Taha, or anyone else, is allowed to have their views on the ideology of Pakistan (or any country). That debate, a country for Muslims vs a country based on Islam, is still ongoing and outside of the scope of this thread. Let's focus on the issues highlighted, about the role of the Army in Pakistan.

Pakistani journalists, human rights activists no longer safe even in exile from Pakistan's Army

I feel the same - I would use all manner of debating tactics and 'legalese' to defend the Army, not because I was being disingenuous or lying, but because I genuinely thought that the accusations against them were unfair and they needed defending. Not anymore.

Pakistani journalists, human rights activists no longer safe even in exile from Pakistan's Army

Criticising the Pakistan Army's fascist policies of arrests, abductions, torture and murder of journalists and activists opposing the Armys' treasonous and corrupt actions is not 'anti-Pakistan'. What the Pakistan Army has been doing since the days of Ayub Khan's military dictatorship and...

    Elections Are Coming!!??

Fair enough - I would argue that what little he did demonstrate during the PTI's time in power was quite promising - focusing on the rights of religious minorities, social welfare programs, the single national curriculum overhaul (even with its flaws, better than what we had), reducing...

Pakistani journalists, human rights activists no longer safe even in exile from Pakistan's Army

I realize that Taha Siddiqui has often been a target of vociferous criticism and abuse on this forum from many members (myself included) but recent events have allowed many of us to finally 'remove our blinkers' and see the Pakistan Army's fascist policies, treason and violations of the...
