First Pakistani astronaut will go into space in 2022: Information Minister

SUPARCO JV's for satellite building are 90% Chinese and 10% Pakistani involvement. The same goes for the funds involved as well. The SUPARCO satellites are manufactured in China by the Chinese with little involvement from SUPARCO. And if you cannot have launch capability within Pakistan, you...

First Pakistani astronaut will go into space in 2022: Information Minister

This new is simply a POLITICAL ROUSE. SUPARCO does not even have the money to develop its own satellite independently how will it spend the millions of dollars required to train a PAKINAUT? Plus what will be the selection criteria? Will it be open to public? Who will be the deciding authority in...

Pakistan Navy seeking new jet power maritime patrol aircraft MPA

The leading country (price & specifications wise) for a Jet MPA integration remains the US. Followed by UK and EU. These countries have matured platforms in use worldwide. Turks may be newbies in this field and it will take some time for them to catch up. TAI is capable enough to have this...

Pakistan Navy seeking new jet power maritime patrol aircraft MPA

I know PAC well. Other than assembling JF17, Mushaks, Falco UAV, Mirages etc they do not have the capability nor the capacity to ‘develop’ a multipurpose jet aircraft that can be used as a MPA.

Pakistan Navy seeking new jet power maritime patrol aircraft MPA

Pakistan Navy seeking new jet power maritime patrol aircraft MPA

This news is true. However PN does not want anything like the USAF Poseidon. It wants a smaller platform that can evade radar and at the same time carry maritime sensors. Size of a business jet designed for maritime surveillance is the requirement. Many options are available but the only problem...

AH-1Z Viper, 1000 Hellfire II Missiles approved for sale to Pakistan.

I had indicated this a few months back on this forum that the Vipers ain't coming not for the want of sanctions but for the lack of self financed funds at GHQ. These Vipers can be shipped tomorrow provided GHQ coughs up the funds required. If not than they will be sold elsewhere. This case is...

Russia to supply radar for protecting nuclear power plant in Pakistan

Why would a NPP need a civilian (weather, ATC) radar? The facility is already under the general AD radar umbrella operated by Army and Air Force. How can you hype up a civilian radar system?

Russia to supply radar for protecting nuclear power plant in Pakistan

Dubious News! Russians do not sign defense deals with private companies in Pakistan. TechWin is an indenting company. The protection of NPP should be integrated with the current Army AD radars in order to provide comprehensive coverage against low altitude and high altitude threats. These will...
