Once again poor answer.
Accept us because we are India.
That might work on you but it doesn't work on us.
Release the footage. You have nothing to lose.
That is a very poor answer.
You have no proof except for your army's word. Media persons and International media went to AJK, villlagers were questioned. They saw nothing.
Now move along.
For God's sake. India did a giant press conference, said it killed 38 people, infiltrated into Pakistani territory. Do you really not see how Pakistani people will be worried about such claims no matter how real or fake they are. It also shows our government what direction Indians are thinking...
1. Ceasefire violation are normal. We lose men in them and sometimes innocent villagers too. They have happened in the past and no one went to war over them
2. There was no infiltration for the army to escalate over.
My personal assessment is that Indians tried something, were stopped by PA...
Call them allies then. They are not our allies either. They will not hesitate to harm Pakistan or side with India when it suits them but you are right that we have to keep trying and no matter who does or doesn't support us.
Yet they still carried out their surgical strike drama.
And this is from the white house.
"National Security Advisor Susan E. Rice spoke today by phone with Indian National Security Advisor Ajit Doval. Ambassador Rice strongly condemned the September 18 cross-border attack on the Indian Army...
US ambassador met Indian NSA and asked Pakistan to contain Lashkar-e-Tayaba.
They are supporting India very very firmly. And they are angry at Pakistan for supporting the Taliban so I think they'll be happy about India exerting more pressure on Pakistan, engaging us on the Eastern border so...
I think something happened and the army does not want to disclose it to the public. I don't think they care about face saving for India so it must be something else.
Indian response is dumb. A soldier crossed the border "by mistake" on the exact same day their government claims to have...
Indeed I do but letting infiltrators cross over from our side doesn't help them at all.
Are Afghan Taliban not living in Pakistan? Mullah Mansoor died here. Their shura is in Quetta as far as I know.
Right now we have no leverage at all. The US is on our case and supporting India against us...
Yeah....I somehow doubt that. Why would Pak army care about face saving for India? It would be a moment for triumph for them if they killed 8 indian soldiers, something they'd be happy/eager to share.
There is radio silence. Bajwa does press conference over the smallest of things so what's...
You spoke my mind, good sir.
I was thinking these exact same things. Either India crossed LOC, this guy got captured but Pak army is not saying anything.
India tried crossing it, was thwarted and this guy was captured and now India is downplaying it.
Why hasn't ISPR said anything? Where is...
I'm not saying WE let them do it. But we never fully clamped down on them and they skipped across the border.
We don't need new enemies but keeping Afghan Taliban here invites the wrath of the Americans. And yes getting America on our side is important whether we like that or not. Let Afghan...
But non-state actors in Pakistan still conducted activities there.
I still think the world will forgive us with regard to India/Kashmir non-state actors as long as we do something about the Afghan Taliban.
You're right about that. The Jihadi policy was okay at first but should have been abandoned after 9/11 when the world started to look down upon Islamic Jihadi's. The continued policy did the most damage.
I wish mods would close down these threads until ISPR releases an official statement.
Hamid Mir is an idiot and known liar. I don't believe him at all.
