India: the US doormat into Asia?

Good points. The other hilarious thing is people Ty to keep strengthening Pak-Iran ties on this forum but the Iranians should be aware of he history of the nation which has always chosen selfish gains of money and "strategic depth" over human lives, including Muslims. One wad of money will...

US Defense Secretary Panetta threatens ground intervention into Pakistan

You quoted my post but I am not sure of what you are trying to say. Are you implying that India threatened to attack Pakistan for fancy?

US Defense Secretary Panetta threatens ground intervention into Pakistan

As far as diplomacy and foreign policy goes, I am proud of all the ones I can think of over the years, including the ones I can't name :) Too late in the night to try and remember.

US Defense Secretary Panetta threatens ground intervention into Pakistan

I suppose this makes sense, more so than the previous post. That said, America's attempts at baiting us in are fairly useless. There are no tangible benefits for India in this confrontation. Our main bone of contention - Kashmir - is not going to get resolved by this.

US Defense Secretary Panetta threatens ground intervention into Pakistan

Whatever makes you happy mate, I am not one to judge. Then again, if you are proud of your leaders, then I guess score one for democracy.

US Defense Secretary Panetta threatens ground intervention into Pakistan

I can't blame you for your language. You guys have always wanted respect from your allies but they have treated you like trash. From American to Chinese lapdogs, as some fan boys would say. Get this thing in your head - it is not India's problem that America is courting us. We are well aware of...

US Defense Secretary Panetta threatens ground intervention into Pakistan

What do you mean eluding us? Are we hunting for your army men? And you seem to have some connection with your military, but your obsession with your military's might is a little misplaced. We have many neighbours with lesser capabilities with whom we have border disputes, but it does not mean we...

US Defense Secretary Panetta threatens ground intervention into Pakistan

Cowardly? Whose President caved in to the threats of the US? Who is afraid to shoot down drones? Who is ready to move on from the Salala incident as long as more money is paid per truck? Beghairat people calling a sensible self-respecting nation cowardly is the heights of irony.

US Defense Secretary Panetta threatens ground intervention into Pakistan

Okay, that might make sense. And to your second point, yes - if Pakistan tries anything stupid, it will be an open invitation for us. Although it will be messy and of no benefit other than retaliation. Besides, in such an eventuality (let's face it - highly improbable), I foresee a post WW2...

US Defense Secretary Panetta threatens ground intervention into Pakistan

See the comments of some of your countrymen, and I am sure many of them feel that way. And your leaders have never been the brightest in history, so it is a possibility. India and China will choose to stay away from this conflict, but if there is any misadventure, we would be forced to get...

US Defense Secretary Panetta threatens ground intervention into Pakistan

Instead of pulling in India into everything, shouldn't you be working on developing nuclear warheads capable of reaching the US? Then you can actually have the pleasure of declaring war on the US rather than be talking of defending your nation.

US Defense Secretary Panetta threatens ground intervention into Pakistan

Your analysis sounds good on paper, but a nuclear strike on civilians will not go down well for the US. They don't have the kind of mandate to act rash anymore. Also, your assumption of Indian involvement is a little off. It serves us no purpose to get involved in this mess, unless Pakistan...

How Kashmir was stolen from Pakistan by Mountbatten

I have read full-length accounts of Mountbatten and his narration on the partition. I am also well aware of the vices of all the gentlemen of the era and suffice to say nothing said about MAJ was very charitable. That said, it is off-topic, and there is no point in getting into those details.

How Kashmir was stolen from Pakistan by Mountbatten

Mountbatten has enough accounts of where he casts doubts on the abilities and intentions of Jinnah over the other politicians of the day (Including LAK) and none of them described MAJ as a gentleman. Anyway, you are bringing way too many out-of-topic unsubstantiated topics in this discussion.

CIA gets nod to step up drone strikes in Pakistan

Pakistan has killed more Muslims than India - In Indian Kashmir, other Indian cities, Palestinians (Black September), Bangladesh (1970-71), Afghanistan (ongoing), and of course in Pakistan itself (Shias, Ahmedis, Sunnis, Balochis etc.). If you bring religion into unrelated discussions, it can...

CIA gets nod to step up drone strikes in Pakistan

Apart from the childish logic being quoted, if Pakistan were to employ nukes as an offensive weapon in response to a conventional attack (that too on a 3rd country), you will be taken out by every single country in the world, and no one, including your all-weather friend China will be able to...

Collapse of Darwinism : Theory of Evolution

Yup, and that is true till we are six or seven years old. Then our brains develop and begin dispelling myths of the world. Santa is a good example in these parts of the world. Yeah right, you would have questioned it had the Quran said so. It has something against evolution so you jumped the...

Saudi official injured in brawl at Islamabad airport

Muse, I think you are a little biased here. Why should the "Wahabiism" be a justification for the treatment of all people from one country. After all, aren't you guilty of the racism you so accuse the Saudis of? If you want to be different from them, shouldn't you also reflect on the lack of...
