Its a part of deal , which includes buying 14 used F16 A/B jets, and upgrading them and as well as upgrading current fleet of 32 F16 A/B plus Buying 18 new F16 C/D with an option of 18+. These missiles will only be used on F16.

A Two seater J-10 looks more advanced and looks like it has been fine tuned aerodynamically. However i think we should wait on J-10, bcoz as chinese are continiously working on J-10 to upgrade it in terms of aerodynamics, engine and systems. So ordering J-10 now is of no benefit, wait for...

U.S airforce retired these birds recently in April 2008, so they are selling it to PAF, rather than sending them to junkyard :lol:

USA has agreed to procvide 20 T-37 Trainers to PAKISTAN. Planes will b handed over to PAF within this year. :pakistan:

After MLU, will these F16 A/B Block 15 equiped with same radar, sensors and weapon systems as Modern F16 C/D Block 52+ ???

I doubt that... BTW which Western AESA radars are currenly available to Pakistan or in next 1 year or so, as PAF is not considering of buying j-10 in one year time. I think J-10 with good PESA radar (similar to Rafale) would be a good for initial batch of 40. :pakistan:

Well guyz, after reading the interview outlines of ACM-T.MAHMOOD. I am bit disappointed that we are not going for any true modern western jet in next 7~8 years, and only 36-40 j-10 's in that period. I Think we should reduce the no. of Jf-17's from 240 to accomodate 100 J-10's and should...
