    You are implying two things 1) A terrorist like act may not be terrorism. A good cause may justify a terrorist act. 2) USA supports terrorism as a state policy because it has one of the most liberal private arms regime in the world.

    I guess that can be equated with terrorism, but not suicide bombing. In fact there is more similarity with guerrilla warfare. The closest ancient example can be found in Hindu mythology when Hanuman set himself on fire and burned Lanka.

    Indians seem to have a myopic Pakistan centric view on terrorism problem in their country. Terrorism is a very old, indigenous and broad based problem in India. Mahatama gandhi, Indira gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi were not killed by Pakistan sposnsored terrorists. Or Muslim terrorists for that...
