Tata Deal With Lockheed Martin effect on PAF F16 fleet

I still think the F 16 will be a very good replacement for the Mig 27s and the Jaguars. Gripen has too many components that are American made. The spares for the F 16 can be gotten in grey markets which would be difficult if the Gripen is chosen in case of sanctions. Anyways the F 16s are going...

    made-in-india-parts-for-pakistani-f-16s-let-me-explain

Well F 16s will be replacing the MiG 21s and the MiG 27s in the future...that is like the lowest end of our fighter contingent. It wont even be in the frontline units i guess. The F 16 is much better suited for that role in Indian airspace.

IAF to trial American F-16, Swedish Gripen for 120-jet Make in India project to replace MiGs

Well the fight is for a replacement of MiG 21. The F 16 or Gripen if selected will be in the lowest end of the Fighter hierarchy of the IAF. If the IAF is going for the F 16 or Gripen then I guess investment into the LCA MK2 is utter nonsense. We must divert the funds and manpower to AMCA and...

That guy is a critic...he could have boasted about Long March but did not...rather congratulated us. just relax. If we were a part of the P5 we could have accomplished more. Nut we are not....so this is an achievement for u. lets celebrate it till we get the ULV.

Well so you are going to set up toll plazas enroute? So maintainance is also an integral part of the project so what are the norms and who is going to shell out for the maintenance is it you or the Chinese? well and I thought up that 15% interst as the Chinese banks had negotiated around 4 to 5%...

CPEC: Pakistan Wins War Against India Without Even Starting One

So you think you can pay off the 15% interest rate every year?...I am not an economist but i still have my doubts about how Pakistan is going to pay it off. And Chinese people always dont hire the locals to do their work...they prefer their own people working in these projects and companies...

135 Million a Unit,Dassault n Lockheed having great laugh on Indias 5th gen Fighter program with Rus

Well yes the AL 31 is too complex, but costs much less than P&W F100. That is the reason why the WS 10 engine was created. But Turbofan engine technology concept is much more simple but the basic sciences like metallurgy and physics must be reinvented. For the cost of a single P&W F 100 you can...

135 Million a Unit,Dassault n Lockheed having great laugh on Indias 5th gen Fighter program with Rus

We dont need 6 80 000 ton carriers in our arsenal right now...3 is more than enough. We are not fighting the USN or even dreaming to do it in our back yard. I still think even 6 is less for you. Well i want to see which country people know the 'truth' the one which has access to all the search...

135 Million a Unit,Dassault n Lockheed having great laugh on Indias 5th gen Fighter program with Rus

I think we can get back to the topic of PAKFA/FGFA. The expertise of Russia far outweighs most of the countries in aviation design and development. No one can deny it. And I think that $135 million a piece is a bang for the buck. And if you go and ask a general for a choice if he would fly a...

135 Million a Unit,Dassault n Lockheed having great laugh on Indias 5th gen Fighter program with Rus

No man you are wrong. Chinese wanted a carrier of 65k tonnage and we wanted a 40k tonnage. the negotiations for Gorshkov started when Chinese bought the Varyag for 20 million dollars. And We were under sanctions for Nuclear weapons those days. We have a pace of acquisition that would put shame...

135 Million a Unit,Dassault n Lockheed having great laugh on Indias 5th gen Fighter program with Rus

Well the reason is the vast expanse of the Russian mainland. They need a lot of fuel to patrol the huge region that extends from pacific to the baltic and the artic to Asia minor. So they need a lot of fuel. They pioneered air to air refuelling concept in the 50s. That is why they needed to have...
