EU Says US Has No Right to Invoke ‘Snapback’ Mechanism against Iran

The EUs answer was pretty much expected on this one. Without a doubt, US soft power has been a victim of the Trump administration in the last four years, for pretty easily quantifiable reasons.

    Whatever

Yes, pretty much. The Greek ethno-linguistic group is pretty distinctive, and with easily traceable and well characterized Y-DNA haplogroups. Here is an interesting article, if you are interested. The Greeks really do have near-mythical origins, ancient DNA reveals Having said that, have in...

    Whatever

Almost each region has its own dialect, but it is somewhat easy for any Greek to understand them fully. Crete indeed has a different, immediately recognizable dialect. When you do eventually encounter a buffy nonagenarian from Chania and start conversing though...then all bets are off. You are...

    Whatever

Ah yes, coffee is consumed a lot more here. Don't mind them, it's a Cretan thing really. In peoples' homes (not restaurants) out in the countryside it's even worse. Featured BREAKING NEWS: UN DECIDED TO NOT EXTEND THE ARMS EMBARGO ON IRAN

It's not even about that. As the US has shown in the past, any and every entity doing business with Iran will be sanctioned, if Iran is sanctioned. This means that even if the helicopter had 0 foreign parts, US would still sanction the Turkish companies making it. Because the whole idea is to...

Featured Greece Turns Back Migrants by Abandoning Them at Sea

Taking Hard Line, Greece Turns Back Migrants by Abandoning Them at Sea Many Greeks have grown frustrated as tens of thousands of asylum seekers languished on Greek islands. Now, evidence shows, a new conservative government has a new method of keeping them out. Migrants aboard an inflatable...

Because there are going to be unilateral US sanctions regardless.

    Turkish Naval Programs

It is a good looking ship. I'm particularly fond of the bowline, the double recess (although less pronounced here) reminds me of the Type 055 Destroyer.

If I remember correctly, US was occupying the Dominican Republic until the middle 60's or sth.

Featured BREAKING NEWS: UN DECIDED TO NOT EXTEND THE ARMS EMBARGO ON IRAN

No NATO member is going to sell weapon systems to Iran, for pretty obvious reasons. American parts or not.
