No. 2 Squadron is staying in Karachi. It is getting additional aircraft, potentially making it the biggest fighter squadron by fleet numbers (almost equivalent to 2 full-strength squadrons).
No. 7 sqn and No.22 sqn will go through some interchanging of assets and a Mirage sqn is expected to be...
Whiskey Tango Foxtrot. WTF. There is only ONE thing to blame in this event and that is the culture in the cockpit in PIA and those pilots (mostly Captains) who have kept this culture going. The real solution is to fire everyone in management positions in PIA flight operations and replace them...
Thank you for your kind words.
What you're saying is indeed true.
I did get some more information but I will be not be disclosing anything until internet floods with it.
I opened this thread for speculation and discussion on what happens AFTER these 5 airframes arrive. But the focus of the...
C-130 #180 overran the runway and was written off
http://www.c-130.net/aircraft-database/C-130/airframe-profile/7081/
The aircraft belonged to TCS and had an instructor and a student on board. The instructor routinely piloted CN-235's aswell since both the aircraft were in 6 Sqn.

Assets of defense forces highlight deterrence. Hence, such information is usually made public upon arrival. People are invited to the ceremony who are related to the purchase such as Ambassadors, defense attache's etc. It is broadcasted to show that 'look, we have these weapons now'
It's the...
Currently, all 8 B's have been divided amongst 3 sqn's for test and weapons evaluation. They are undergoing specialized weapons testing for SEAD/DEAD roles. Expect an EA-18 type version too in the future if we get the desired electronics. Current 16, 26 and 28 are using B's for test and evaluation.
I find your sarcasm quite odd and uninformed, at best.
OSINT is any publically available information that may be used to derive further iterations of assumptions, predictions, and interpretation of this 'public' data.
Agencies use their informed intuition to find out the meaning from rumors...
I dont wish to share a cell with Jhadev. :D
Not even close to reality. If you didn't notice, JF-17s are guarding the north and the south which itself are very important zones. JF-17s impressive range, weapon lethality, small RCS and lack of intel on true capability always baffles Indians...
Non-Flying Bases
The PAF Base Lahore is one of the oldest air force bases in Pakistan. It comes under Central Air Command. An air defence modernization school, now renamed Air Defence System School (ADSS) was established at the PAF Base Lahore in 1978, with a primary aim of imparting...
Ex IAF Air Marshal has written and published the following article about PAF installations and made it a part of OSINT. Lots of wrong information and assumptions are taken. And we shall not care to admit, approve, or disapprove any of it. Let them assume a water tank to be a nuclear missile...
52nd squadron was raised due to a different reason.
180's crash had a major contribution to it since the instructor pilot was found to be 'double currency' as in he flew both CASA's and C-130's with 6 sqn.
Hence, 52 sqn was made and pilots were barred from flying both typess at the same time.
Typically before. Notification means all the sub contractors have been selected and awarded. DSCA notification is usually the last contract which gives an overview of tens or hundreds of other contracts.
I never thought i'd have to remind you. But, forums function on the principle of...
