I'm partially offended, since I have Chinese background, and plus, I come from a wealthy but financially conservative family.
It's not the fault of us Tsinoys who are just simply wealthy.
Apparently Tuo Jiang carries 16 anti-ship missiles that are capable of sinking China's carrier.
The only way Liaoning can stay safe is if it was escorted by submarines and guided-missile destroyers like Type 052D and 055. Although, I'm not sure if Tuo Jiang has ASW capability.
Nice thread Nihonjin. I think this should be a sticky thread.

I actually don't care if Vietnam, China, or even the Philippines, occupies the South China Sea.
It's either "be the first to control" or "let's work together in peace." Although, the former seems more popular than the latter.
Ridiculous how both the Chinese and Vietnamese are so serious because of a reef. It's like me wanting to punch my sister because she claims the house sofa.
All Hail this Tiny Reef.
I don't think the government will ban sending more OFWs to other nations, but, they could discourage immigrating to other nations...
But, we are yet to be wealthy. Maybe in 10-20 years time...
Just to let people know, I do miss the Philippines, since I was born there, but my father didn't want me and my sister to grow up there. So, he decided that the family should move to the West for a better life, and he made a very wise choice.
I have many relatives in Phil, and I haven't visited...
I'll be honest, the CX-1 doesn't seem amazing. I would prefer the YJ-12/YJ-18.
Also, why did they spend time creating a missile based on the P-800 if they could just spent the time creating a hypersonic cruise missile? Even India is developing a hypersonic Brahmos.
The F-35 would only be a threat to Liaoning if it carried powerful anti-ship missiles only.
Long Range Anti-Ship Missile - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Looks like Liaoning has a real threat...
Only gullible people believe that China would invade Philippines.
Don't know if they just want a poor, sh*tty excuse for war.
And yes, I am talking about those in both Philippines and China.
Even if China occupies the entire Philippine archipelago, this would have a negative impact on their economy.
And plus, the West would condemn them, and maybe even declare war on China.
To me, the reason why corruption seems rampant in the PLA, is because of the CCP's control on the military.
If the CCP loosened its control on the PLA, corruption might decrease. Also, I think that officers and generals shouldn't be members of the CCP.
Might be that politics and militaries...
