had LCA been a twin engine fighter we would have inducted it with our own kaveri engines
as Rafale own M88 -2 engine has max thrust of 74KN with after burners meanwhile kaveri in tests had achieved
Max thrust of 82-83 KN with after burner .
IAF set criteria of atleast 90KN of thrust...
