Forgery case will go to a trial court. I hope it's given due attention and doesn't go the way of Dr. Asim, Musharraf, Ayan Ali, Sharjeel Memon and the rest of the special Pakistanis.
They can do nothing but reserve the judgement. A short order wouldn't seem to be fair. That it gives Nawaz and co. more time for their final corruption (just like Saleem Mandviwala did for Zardari during the end of their term) is another matter. Every day that passes in limbo costs the exchequer...
How in the world can the argue that it was a binding mistake? It is an obvious forgery. They have used a copier to attach the signature part of the document to the top text which is different in both. I don't think the judges are that stupid. Malicious? Maybe. But they won't be able to get away...
I hope they just accepted their stance and not if that is true or not. It doesn't make sense that this was a binding mistake when the top of both documents is different...

The irrefutable proof of forgery that the SC has referred to is the same mistake on on the dates on two different documents submitted. According to the forensic report, the dates have been changed from 2004 to 2006. It's the exact copy on both documents...
There was no deal back then. The deal is now after pushing Nawaz to the brink. Just like during Dawnleaks, those that matter must've gotten even more concessions from the government.
It can't. But it's increasingly likely going by the last three days that the judges won't rule against Nawaz. Now with the appearance of "proof" it looks like everything will be managed.
