I guess you need to go checkout the list of people who signed that petition. There are so many christians who signed that petition. So its not the case of Pakistanis there or just the Muslims. The religious liberties of Jews as well as Christians are not protected under the present...

The problem is that none of the religion got protected within the US. Their constitution gives liberties but its boundry is not demarcated . So this petition is going to extend the boundary for that liberty and not to curb anybodies liberty as for as the religion is concerned. This is a positive...

I guess Krait you are right in your analysis but some people of USA are trying to do some try and see how their voice will be heard at the top level......They might be able to be successful for the good cause.
