Those are probably SFF and that is an original PK not a PKM or a captured Type 80. It's probably from Bulgaria but I am just assuming that. PK Bulgarian soldier shooting an Arsenal PK/MG with side rail mounting bracket. The furniture is a bit different. I supposed the SFF would have...

Many thanks, the one from 2014 was the one I was looking for. It would seem SSG has acquired a few quanitities of the Bulgarian AR M1 rifles, milled receiver, 90* gas block, long slotted flash hider and the black furniture.

I believe a few days ago I saw a PA soldier armed with an AK with a GP-25 UBGL. I am not able to find it again. If there are photos of such combination available can someone please post them again?

Realised my error later. You can see where the confusion stemmed from, the half rum didn't help either to discern the KPV from a Browning Mk.2. Thanks for the detailed answer.

Definitely not the KPV. Looks like a Browning M2 receiver. The barrel looks straight from a KPV though. Edit : NVM Probably might be a KPV on a M3 tripod.

    155mm/52cal ATAGS Howitzer Successfully Tested

True about the G7, impressive 105mm howitzer. I hope they validate the M9 Shells and M64 BMCS for the ATAGS, they were giving 50-52 km range with ERFB-BB on the 25 litre chamber G6-52L.

    DRDO 155mm/52cal Artillery Program (ATAGS)

I don't know why the Army even chose the K9 Vajra when we could've instead revived the Bhim project, we could've replace the original 23 litre chamber ordinance on the the Bhim with the one from ATAGS. Hell the Vajra-T doesn't even have the same automation as the Bhim which had an autoloader for...

Indian artillery gun shines in trials, to be displayed on Republic Day

Implications of a larger chamber capacity is that more powerful charge can be used and the shell can be hurled a longer distance. For comparison the G6-52 with 23 Litre chamber gives 42km and 55km maximum range with Assegai M2000 ERFB-BB and V-LAP shells using the M90 BMCS, the G6-52L with 25...

    Pakistan's Artillery Upgrade Discussions

Hello, any photos of the Panter 155/L52 in Pakistani Service? All I could find was this. Also what 155mm shells is POF producing, I know POF produces the HE M101, M107 and has a JV with Poongsang for K310 BB DPICM rounds (178 million contract for 8,600 rounds), is the K307 being manufactured...

    Pakistan's Service Rifle (G-3, Type-56) Replacement Competition 2016.

The rifle in the hands of this gentlemen is the 5.56mm NATO variant designated CZ806, the rifle in the poster is a 7.62x39mm variant and is designated CZ807. I thought 806 would be a multicalibre rifle with both 5.56 NATO and 7.62x39mm kits available and that 807 was an old designation for the...
