Hindu Ramayana and Islam (Allah) in a religious text!

Well to maintain common sense, He told us that we can worship Him in whatever form we wish - the only condition being that He must be considered omnipresent and He must be in your mind while you worship Him. Plus there are no limits to His forms.

Hindu Ramayana and Islam (Allah) in a religious text!

And where is the place for Allah in this entire system of existence?

Hindu Ramayana and Islam (Allah) in a religious text!

If you see in India, Ramayana as written by Tulsidas is more celebrated than the one written by Valmiki, even though the latter is the primitive source. Why? Because there is idealism in Tulsidas' Ramayan, where from people can learn the ideal human qualities. Since it works better for the...

Hindu Ramayana and Islam (Allah) in a religious text!

It would be interesting to know what you have interpreted of the Bhagavad Gita. So what is this "entire Universe"? What does Quran say of it? Is it this world we live in, the heaven and the hell?

Hindu Ramayana and Islam (Allah) in a religious text!

In the so called "modern religions", the problem is that the concept of God is somewhat similar to a ruler or a governor, someone distinct from the creation itself. In the more primitive religions, i.e., Hinduism and Buddhism, God is everything and beyond, and and hence His complete form is...

    Can't kneel before separatists

Can't kneel before separatists - Arun Jaitely This is a video of conversation with the leader of opposition in Rajya Sabha - Arun Jaitley on the recent activities in Kashmir. This is after he went there in the all-party delegation. What interested me is a very fair assessment of the ground...

    Kashmir | News & Discussions.

If he is talking about the the whole of Kashmir including P O K, then he should be aware of India's stance that India is ready to discuss that given there is absolute cease of cross-border terrorism and infiltration. I think that is what Obama has also said, and not what Mr Abdullah has heard. I...

Corruption is taking a heavy toll in India

I think this problem is very much solvable, if and only if, we can device a system wherein money and power both do not rest in the same hands. We need to have a fifth institution akin to the powers of EC, comprising of persons of integrity, who will trace the flow of money from top to bottom...

India imports 15,000 Chinese laborers to build, teach infrastructure projects

What about the quality of roads? Is the government ever going to import quality techniques for road building? Oh wait, but that is one of the major source of income of our elected members. They cannot afford to have roads that lasts 20 years and beyond. Just a fool's hope it is.

Kashmir ultimate issue to be resolved between India and Pakistan: U.S.

You apparently do not understand why there is a curfew there every second day. Search for the word curfew and try to figure out the intensity of the situation in Kashmir before comparing it with a few hooligans in Mumbai. On Topic: The US has had this stand for long and there is no doubt that...

    Deep Religiosity, Extreme Ignorance!

This is the quality of journalism in BBC? Tell this fellow to become a literate first. The verdict pronounced is a title suit, it has nothing to do with demolition or other crimes associated with it. Those cases are still under trial. The title suit is different and is around a hundred year old...

    Deep Religiosity, Extreme Ignorance!

The sheer amount of naivety in people just like the "educated" posters here kills me everyday. Are we sure about the meaning of religiosity and ignorance, in the context it has been put forth here? The interpretation of meanings play a grand role in the understanding of these foundational...

After bridge collapse, false ceiling of CWG venue falls

And what about the panting justice system of the nation? There are nearly 300 million pending cases in India. How do you seek to implement an environment of justice, when cases upon cases crumble upon each other and then get extincts in the debris of other cases. Do you not think that judiciary...

After bridge collapse, false ceiling of CWG venue falls

I hope the games fail just when it is happening. The Indians, both politicians and bureaucrats, need a serious jolt to get their act together.

    Kashmir | News & Discussions.

As much as I have seen, I have mostly found the Non-resident Pakistanis being more sensible and balanced in their approach. Is it the education, is it the openness of their new society, or is it their own vision that makes them look apart, in a better way, than their countrymen? Anyways...

No I am not, you are just failing to see the complete picture. I said the legal framework was not "completely" agreed upon, that is in terms of the princely states. Both India and Mountbatten were of the opinion that the geographical conditions should be the basis of their going with India or...

AFSPA Or Nothing, Says Chairman Chiefs Of Staff

I totally agree. The way forward is scrapping Article 370 and let Kashmir integrate with India like the rest of India. Until that is done, Kashmir will remain alienated and Kashmiris are bound to have "step-brotherly" feeling in them.
