India could have saved as much as $3.2 billion on construction of the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train

But China is gaining hugely from its trade with India, while India is loosing. China sells $60 billion while buys just $9 billion. I think in future US could overtake China as India's largest partner because India gains from trade with US.

India could have saved as much as $3.2 billion on construction of the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train

The biggest deal breaker is not the safety or the cost but the low trust level between India and China. There is no way China can outflank Japan in Indian market. Japan will always be preferentially treated

Atif Aslam Sang A Kashmiri Song - Popular in 1990s militancy

May be Atif Aslam realized that anyway it is impossible to get into India so why not sing songs that makes Pakistanis happy so that he has a market for his songs in Pakistan. If he was so concerned about Kashmir...he should never have sung any songs in Hindi movies.

Yes Chinese bullet trains are cheap but the writer of the OP misses two things 1) Relations between India and China is one of mistrust and enmity 2) Japanese bullet trains though costly have much safer track record than Chinese.

No, Mughals didn't loot India. They made us rich

No, Mughals didn't loot India. They made us rich

Yes, they ruled...but there are many in India that eulogize Mughals and even oppose when you rename auranzeb road to Abdul Kalam road. I hope they learn the lesson that Mughals are not one of us. There is nothing to be proud of when you are under foreigner rule.
