Nice chart!
Just a couple of observations!
1/ 4 052C's are listed as active...........which brings me to the question, has 052C '152' been commissioned or not?
The vessel has had its pennant number on now for quite a long time now, and some say the vessel was commissioned this...
I agree........looking at the building times of the 054A............it does appear that by going past 054A outfitting times, the latest 054A's are taking longer than usual to complete.
Basically, as an average, previous 054A's have taken a year from launching to commissioning.
As of this...
Ok........one thing i would like to ask is.............does anyone actually know when construction will start on the first 055, and will it be built at 'JN' shipyard?
Yes........good news, and another great photo from our member 'cirr' :-)
It will be interesting to see how well time wise 'DL' can construct their 052D's in comparison to 'JN'
Yep.................that's an 052D alright................one interesting point, and its hard to tell from the angle of the photo shot........is that, that doesn't look like the shed at 'JN' where all the other 052D's have been made.
The shed so far used for 052D construction is a double shed...
Must be No.5...........I believe it was launched on the 27th August.
Definitely cant be No.6.......not even the Chinese can build a 7000 tonne warship in 7-8 weeks. o_O
How come...... photo's only appear now? :hitwall:............and please add some text. :hitwall::mad:
:sniper:
Exactly....also.don't forget the final 052C's were completed, the 054A's have continued building, numerous 056's have been added to the fleet.....................and of course the development of the 055 monster! :sniper:
Next year 2015...............China will begin working on their big toys! :-)
In response to my earlier post, ive noticed that some members are dubious as to the deal that China may buy further Russian submarines. For reference this was only part of the deal, as Russia is prepared to sell more fighters to China, plus the S-400 anti-aircraft system.
Who knows whether this...
All this goes to show how rapidly Chinese military technology has advanced during this century!
I still think its worthwhile for the Chinese military to keep the 'Sovs' for sometime, as they add some useful force and numbers to the Destroyer fleet. Currently the 'Luda' class is being retired...
On some forums, some members say the 'Sovs' should be retired early................but that is silly. i mean the last 2 are barely a decade old, and they pack a massive armament.
It will be interesting to see how these turn out after their refits........obviously the electronics will be updated...
Interesting and informative post 'Gambit'.
Makes you wonder how they manage to make these engines so efficient and reliable.......i mean just look at the number of external components, particularly on the military jet engine......the quality control, must be of the absolute highest order at...
Current US Submarine fleet:- as per ''Wiki'

Virginia class (11 in commission, 5 under construction, 2 on order) — fast attack submarines
Seawolf class (3 in commission) — attack...
Its a sad reflection these days, that the US government and the the NWO elitists members of the American society who pull their strings, feel that they need to wage war or prepare for war against the worlds nations, including their need to plan war even against their own allies! :(
Yes...........I first read this report on the BBC yesterday..........its very annoying that the BBC only wrote this article, from an American perspective only!
Yes....... I too can pretty much guess a persons identity by the style of their posts, and thinking, if they post at more than one forum!............i'am not sure about you though! :azn:
But........in answer to your question 'brainsucker....' I do also post at SDF (good forum, but no sense of...
