Thank you for that information.
Bill Gertz is good to let us know something had happeded, but he used to call every chinese test an ASAT, so for this part he is not credible.

I won't say that's your image. :enjoy:
The original image comes from the collection of documents of academician Liu Xingzhou, it is a model he presented in 2007 during the national meeting of aerospace propulsion.

And in two weeks China will build Type 09XI space destroyer.
In 4 months 10 Type 09XV Galactic cruiser will be launched secretly from Gobi desert.
And in 1 year, I don't ever dare to think what this country can do (or, just, what kind of reference can still be invented...).
Wake up guys, is...
Where do you find these pictures please ?
Since July 12th almost everyday has balistic-like NOTAM, but this morning should be near Jilin and not Xiniiang. But I might miss something also.
Edit : I think that I know what's that : it is the launch of Progress MS-03 spacecraft from Baïkonour...
This kind of bu....it media should follow a little bit more what are officially released from manufacturer sources, and not publishing bu....it articles just to attract eyeballs...
And I might add that chinese fan-boy should also have better common sense. Loving it's own country is a good...
The 2.2m engine has just finished the very first test end of 2013, how can it physically be possible that the whole missile had already carried out the first launch test ?
And then, once again, what is this new reference Type 094G ? Imaginative ?
Sometime I don't really know what to say...
An I may add that if medias in China start to report around the topic these days, either some important stages have been step through, either this is related to current geopolitic issues.
I also noticed consecutive strange NOTAM everyday since July 12th, I don't know what were they, but just...
I share the same view from @星海军事, the official article talking about "Team n°35" is for me the only credible information telling us that a new variant of Type 09III has been inducted. Though nothing more.
So far as long as I read, the Type 09IIIB reference do exist, and nothing confirming the...
Sorry but I can't see any "established fact". I think everyone like me follows those stuff via forum / weibo / official articles, and till now there is no any common agreement on the number of 09III / 09IIIA or 09IIIB.
I've quoted since years everything said by pop3, for example these 2...
Sorry but this picture is taken in April 2006 !! This is a Predator B down in Nogales, Arizona.
Wing Loong 2 may have already flown but one thing is sure, it is still under development in China. End of January this year it was still carrying out outdoor RCS tests in Chengdu.
It has very little...
I confirm that this is a Wing Loong MALE from AVIC.
In addition to what you've identified, we can also see the production references printed on the aircraft, as what Chengdu's 132 Factory used to do as usual. See in yellow :
Hope this helps.

I followed @Penguin since years, especially for China aerospace news, and I always find him constructive and talk with courtesy.
If you all don't mind to stick back to the topic, please.

The official designation is WD-1. WD-1K is for example used by PLAAF. If one day the chinese navy buys this MALE I suppose the official designation should be WD-1H (??).
You can see respectively here below the production serial number WD1K01004 (which should be read as WD-1K, Batch 01, forth...
