How do they get rid of the ammo? Unloading such a large amount is very time consuming.

A lot of them are crappy darra made arms, often used simply to threaten people in snatchings. They can cause the user serious injury. I'd be surprised if you got 50 rounds without a failure out of one of these.

G3 with it's full powered cartridge is good for 350 yards+ combat. AK47 and M4 are suited for fights below this.
