AMCA's design has crossed PDR and is supposed to get the Critical Design Review (CDR) by the end of 2022. Which means that the design has been frozen for quite some time.
AMCA critical design review by end of year
Whether the AMCA passed the CDR or not, I'm not sure of since ADA (which is the...
Why would anyone steal any design of a front fuselage and radome? What is so special about it that others haven't done so far?
And who would steal their design? KAI already was way ahead of TAI in terms of design of KF-21, Dassault/Airbus most definitely won't be bothering to steal any TAI...
Extremely strange..the forward fuselage and radome shape of the mockup that was shown till very recently looks NOTHING like the forward fuselage and radome of the prototype in the picture..
Not sure how that happened, given it takes a LOT of time and effort to finalize the Outer Mould Line...
Final 36th Rafale (actually the first Rafale built for India) has landed in India, completing the deliveries of all 36 Rafales to India. RB-008 was in France, as part of the testing of the India Specific Enhancements package that was paid for separately.
Tata Airbus project to build 40 C-295s in Vadodara, Gujarat, after imports of 16 C-295s from Spain, has grown. 15 more C-295s will be built here, 9 for the Navy and 6 for the Coast Guard. These will be then used as MPAs
The C-295 is likely to be the top contender to replace the An-32s when...

Lol..ok whatever. Surely you know better than the IN and Dassault.
It would work out great, except that like you said, MBDA has a big lobby and would not allow for Indian exports, even for a weapon like NG-ARM for which MBDA has no proven alternative.
Given that Indo-French defence trade is...

What does that even mean? Rafale Ms wouldn't be needed if there wasn't the issue of the INS Vikrant and it's embarked fighters.
Anyway, there are news reports that the IN has submitted it's report to the MoD and the Rafale is the frontrunner as per those news reports.
Ideally speaking the...
The French are laying the ground for making the Rafale the most attractive (it already is the most obvious) 114 MRFA competition contestant via commonality with the existing 36 Rafales and also by allowing the addition of Indian weapons. Astra Mk2 and Astra Mk3 will follow on once the Astra Mk1...
