Agreed! Whether you celebrate 62 yrs of independence or 63rd Independence Day they are both the same. I was merely pointing out that our rather notorious media outlets didnt get this one wrong after all.

Let me clarify once again. 63rd Independence day means that a person who was born prior to 1947 and alive today has seen this event (that is independence day of Pakistan) 63 times. However, Pakistan has been independent for 62 years. That s it!
